Shankland also younger. I’ve not watched much of either of them so I was looking at it solely on the numbers. I’m Scottish and watch a fair bit of spl, shankland is slow, overweight and generally unfit. He was generally blamed for Naismith getting binned early in the season as hearts were bottom and he was missing good chances galore, generally feeling was that he was having his purple patch season last year and now he is where he is more at. He is not champ quality, he would really struggle in the league. Not quick, not tall/ strong, think dickov without the grittiness 2 Quote

Are any of the 4 we have signed and 2 we are trying to ones you arent too keen on? Out of interest. And I know we give them all a chance, judge when here etc. Quote
neophox Posted February 3 Posted February 3 I have the feeling that whoever Eustace gets he can make a good player of him....Gueye Ohashi Beck Tronstad Batth Hyan Brittain Travis has all made huge progress this season! Hopefully Kargbo takes the next step. 3 Quote

Still Gueye the main man. 1 Quote

jim mk2 Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Both players being reported close to signing on the BBC now - a trusted source. Have to say Woodrow ‘s goalscoring record doesn’t inspire. What do they see in him except a cheap shirt filler? Desperation signing 3 1 Quote

I've read that at Luton he was used mostly a sub. Not sure how true that is. Quote
rovers11 Posted February 3 Posted February 3 If those two deals get done (IF!) then Rudy has just about pulled it out of the bag. Dennis is a very good signing and the success or failure of this window was going to come down to the striker signing. Woodrow is not great and it would have been abysmal if he was our main signing, but he's better than Hedges who he'll displace. Never seen Kargbo play but he has to be better than Dolan. An attacking line up of Dennis, Woodrow, Cantwell and Kargbo is far > than Gueye, Hedges, Cantwell, and Dolan. 1 Quote
