Made me chuckle and I get your point but anyone that improves what we have available for selection for games is sort of the point.

Do they though? Is Forshaw really any better than Buckley or Garrett?

No-one knows how good or bad O'Riordan is but he was highly rated at one point. Is Sanderson an obvious upgrade?

Here’s a plot twist, maybe, just maybe, Eustace DIDNT want a 33 year old, injury prone, midfielder who can’t start for a relegation team?

What is anyone basing this ‘Eustace wanted forshaw on?’ Nixon? Reckon he’s picked up the phone and asked him if he’s happy with it?

There is no, and never will be, any actual evidence ‘it’s what Eustace wants’. People falling hook line and sinker for messages the club are feeding into the media.

"John we need someone in now and we're running out of options due to our pathetic budget"...."Foreshaw, do you want him"..."it's better than fuck all, YES I want him"

The Sanderson signing coming from nowhere gives me hope that we are looking at players and it’s not being leaked. I know AF was, but maybe others aren’t. I don’t mind the Sanderson signing at all, could be quite shrewd if he has just lost his way a little. He would be back up, unless he comes really good. AF is very underwhelming - fine as back up for Tronstad but who is playing whilst Travis is out? What if he doesn’t return to form after his injury?

Is Forshaw a loan or a free transfer?

Surely we've not paid a fee for him?

Think he's had his deal terminated by Plymouth and we've signed him on a short term deal until the end of the season. Which is another great sign.

Also looks about 55 on the picture of him wearing the scarf. Not that that will necessarily have any bearing on how he plays.

Sanderson was bought for £2m and was the captain of a Championship team.

O'Riordan couldn't even make the bench at Cambridge.

At this moment in time it's clear who the better player is - but hopefully Cambridge are mugs and O'Riordan is a world beater.

Serious Question guys (I'm not taking the piss) are you worried about the lack of money the Venkys seem to have, free old transfers from league one is not what you want or need for a push to win promotion

They have plenty of money.

What they lack (amongst many many other things) is the will to spend it on Rovers.

I'm sure they've got more money than we can imagine.

I'm worried about the amount of money we have - yes.

(Edit:   - Wilsden beat me to it)

If he's any good though seems odd Birmingham's new manager and owners don't rate him highly enough for a campaign in League 1.

We’re saying the same things far too often at the moment for my liking 😁

I’ll start really worrying if I start criticising Sondre…

I get the thinking, but it’s not improved by much though! I’ve made my feeling on John Buckley and Garrett known, and maybe both turn out to be great signings. That’s not the point. We’ve sold a generational talent for half his market price, our top scorer, countless other players, a training ground, Armstrong, sell ons from previous cheap sales, and were signing loans and freebies from teams who don’t want them and don’t think they’re good enough, one of which is in league one.

The club leak all these rhetorics of how happy and rosy Eustace is with all these signings, like he’s going to come out and say otherwise? And people fall for it every time.

All over social media it’s ’well Forshaw doesn’t start when Travis is fit’. Well Travis isn’t fit. ‘He’s only third choice’, is he good enough to be third choice? Strikes me as a 5th choice standard. Would he be third choice at ANY of our play off chasing rivals? Would he fuck.

It’s rinse and repeat every single window, get close to the playoffs, have a shocking January and run of results and end January 10th place. ‘Saving our budget’ for strikers and wide men is the message coming from the plants in the media like Jackson.

We know how this script ends, ‘we did all we could!’

Like others I’m fine with Sanderson although a loan with a deal would have made more sense in case it works out well

The other lad I’m more worried about but the main concern is the intent it’s signalling, really hope this is a case of a couple of essential bits of sticking tape whilst the main priorities are still possible

They brought in two new CBs.

Maybe he doesn't suit the style of football they play? I've no idea, I just know he's talented enough to play in the Championship - it's not a signing I'm disappointed by.

Wouldn't surprise me if this was the end of our transfer business and the old excuses will be out from groucho marx that we tried but couldn't deliver

I'd be surprised if even they were that brass necked. I'll be pleasantly surprised though if we bring in the quality we need up front to sustain a play off push I'd think it'd be more likely to be a couple of low grade, low cost signings along the lines we've just made.

Even that would be enough to see Eustace off in the short to medium term I reckon. What would be the point for him in carrying on?

Hoping to be proved completely wrong obviously.

They don’t lack money, they just won’t invest it in Rovers. It’s been the same for 14 long fucking years. Have you been on the moon?

One fan said that, let’s not twist the facts.

Also that fan was also likely smacked up on home brewed ciderrrr 🥴

But the entire thread that I linked to are in full agreement. They are practically all astonished that a top half championship club would pick him up. Look back at the twitter feed someone posted above.
