So in one post you say we don’t have the budget

the next you are saying about Tom cannon Riis and Dennis

which is it

firstly, I don't know what the budget but I was commented on past history of this window

I was given what and who I would target as striker signing given you gave me your opinions on potential loan signings and I'm not keen on any of them, I just feel that we need someone who has scored goals at this level and has played at this level before

Pretty content with Dion Sanderson signing. Its clearly a Eustace choice and he's coming in as cover and Eustace clearly rated him enough to have him as his captain at Birmingham. Also a good age at 25.

Simply can't be happy with the Forshaw signing. Ok its another one who is coming in as cover, but its a downgrade from Baker IMO. I hope we don't have to resort to playing him to be honest. We'll be hoping that Buckley and / or Garrett can step up until Trav is back.

Fingers crossed that the more attacking incomings are more impressive (if there are any that is).

firstly, Can you please answer this what is your opinion on Forshaw being a poor signing based on? thanks in advance

Our chances of making the top 6 will depend on who we sign as a striker signing and winger signing.

do you know what our budget is for this window? do you?

Its clearly not much or we would be signing players from Plymouths bench and Birminghams reserves. You even keep saying we should sign someone for x value but we wont so you must know.

Ive seen Forshaw a number of times over the years as he was a good player a long time ago but even at Leeds he was contoniously injured and was never the same. He has barely played all season at Plymouth so I havent seen him this season but yes, the fact that their fans are all laughing at us and the fact that he couldnt get in their team doss say a lot.

Do you think that the 2 especially Forshaw are capable of playing for a side you think can make the play offs.

Lots of age snobbery on this thread despite most posters (myself included) being 40+

Can someone tell me with any authority why 33 means you’re past it? Wiemann is 33 but made some key contributions this season and his experience is invaluable. The Dingles have just signed Ashley Barnes who is 35.

No-one is saying Forshaw is in his prime, or Sanderson is coming in as the next Ryan Nelsen, but there are different reasons for signing a player and Eustace clearly values experience. It is essential in this league.

Some people need to be realistic. We all know how our owners operate and they do not shell out cash in January (or at all 😂)  Lose the anger against them and set your expectations at the level we are at.

Who cares what their fans think? Is that all you care

Both are squad players signings.

As I have told you, our playoffs changes will be decide by who sign as striker and winger

Despite us being relegated from the Championship, Sanderson was pretty decent for us last season, and when on loan from Wolves to us the season before as well. Eustace will know how to get the best out of him. Just because you’ve signed him from a lower division doesn’t mean he’s an inferior player.

The reason he is surplus this season at Birmingham is partly because he doesn’t fit in with our manager’s tactics and also because as often happens, managers prefer their ‘own’ players whom he deems to be better.

Sanderson is mostly a very decent defender but can be prone to making silly mistakes occasionally, but then in a poor team last season the poor play from others around him might have contributed to those errors. He can also sometimes be good at picking a perfect pass out of defence and upfield to one of the attackers.

Obviously I don’t know the merits of your other defenders, but all in all I think he could well be a decent loan signing for you, certainly as a squad player and perhaps even as a regular in the starting eleven if he settles in well.

We Brum fans aren’t too bothered about him going, but that’s more to do with the excellent form of our other defenders rather than thinking he’s not good enough.

I hope it all works out well for him, and good luck in your pursuit for the play-off places.

Thanks. Is he quick?

Loan of a lad who was relegated last season and now cant get in a League 1 side and a deal until the and of the season for a 33 year old who's had his contract cancelled by the side bottom of the table.

Waggott will be delighted to see the amount of positive and neutral reaction to these two fairly dire signings. Proves the Club can sign more or less anyone and get away with it.

Might even get away with signing no-one else if he chucks in the obligatory "January is a notoriously difficult window to do business in - we tried our best but it wasn't to be" after the window has finished.
