I hope not - unless they're absolute worldies and get us over the line. We've already got 3 loans (you're allowed 5 in a match day squad). To not reinvest any of the £40m is completely unsustainable. 3 Quote

BankEnd Rover Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Godo would be a good signing but disappointing if it's a loan. Quote
BigHoz Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Godo? Cheap prem loan then. Expected better if that’s the case seen as we went for cheap options in DEF and CM. Be no squad left next year at this rate. 1 Quote
MarkBRFC Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Godo is another Dolan type, fairly technical and tricky but not particularly quick. We have enough of these kind of players. Surely we can find some real, genuine pace from somewhere? Quote
Ricky Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Jayden Danns post match interview was excellent today. Very level headed and the boy can certainly play! I’d like to think his dad might put a word in for us as well. He’d be an excellent signing on loan. Young but a real talent. 4 Quote

Both been clocked sprinting this year at over 20mph Average about 7 or 8 goals involvements a year but definitely something we don't have Quote

The young left winger looked pretty handy for Liverpool as well, sod it take them both. Quote
MB Rover Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Godo is Dolan mark two, looks sharp but isn’t actually very quick. Quote
Emerald Isle Rover Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Most ‘fast’ players that have good distribution or good output wouldn’t be available to us few and far between Quote

Surely we can find some real, genuine pace from somewhere? Looks a lot quicker than Dolan. We need a goalscorer and that's what Eustace aluded to in his post match press conference. Not sure if a cheap backup for Beck + 2 is what he meant but he corrected his comments to 'a couple'. Godo isn't the goalscorer we need so has to be someone else too... 1 Quote

Only genuinely quick player we've had in a few years now was Khadra. Need someone similar. 1 Quote

M_B Posted January 11 Posted January 11 It's one thing turning our nose up at Forshaw, doing it to Brereton takes it to another level. 8 Quote

If he’s deemed good enough for the teams currently 3rd and 4th in the league that should tell you all you need to know really 2 Quote
