Godo has been mentioned but fans saying he isn’t quick so they are not for him

Would be something if we signed with an obligation to buy upon promotion, if we then got promoted and paid a big fee for a player we let go for free when we had chances to sell for big money the summer before when the owners refused.

Wouldn't have Brereton back.  Not achieved much since he left.  Can't imagine he'd want to come back either - for him it's like admitting he made the wrong choice.

It wont happen but he is far, far better than what we have.

He hasnt really played since he left but he did well in the Premier League for Sheffield United. He has pace and gives you goals.

No idea lol but we need options in the squad.  Hedges/Dolan  are slow with no end product.  Should be straight forward to find somebody quick with no end product.  Mix it up a bit.

Demtri Mitchell from Exeter can play left back or left wing and is infinitely faster in a sprint than anyone at the club, and is a local boy

Based on them stats alone, would you take him? Because they're not much different to what we currently have.

I'd rather than focus on someone who has a better record than that other than the potential of a one season wonder coming back and trying to replicate the last form he had with us whilst playing with different players, a different manager and a different set up.

He's much quicker than what we have. I'd definitely have him in on a loan to buy deal.

I think BBD is probably better than anything we have right now in the Front 3 positions that said we all know he has had just 1 good 18 months in the last 5 seasons , but if he has choice between us Sheff Utd  and Sunderland I don’t think we need to debate it too much

He downed tools and couldn't be bothered when we really needed him to step it up and give everything. 

The best thing about this year is our team spirit. This show pony doesn't fit. He will look cute in red and white. Let him piss off to one of them.

He scored 14 goals in the season after the one you presumably are referring to. That is a very impressive goal tally for a wide player. He also scored almost 1 in 2 at Premier League level in the second half of last season for a side that was terrible.

Cantwell is an enigma.  He has clearly got more ability than anyone at the club.  I've even been impressed by his workrate tracking back (which I wasn't expecting). Yet he can't seem to put a decent attacking performance in. 

If you compare characters, there are a lot of similarities between him and Buckley. 

Both rated highly at a young age. 

Both with the potential ability to unlock doors and run games. 

Both seem to have a questionable attitude.

Both seem to go missing when it gets physical. 

Both pick up petulant/stupid bookings. 

Both have never consistently  realised their full ability and probably never will. 

Cantwell also seems a little similar to David Bentley.  I feel there is an element of him having fallen 'out of love' with game. 

It's still early to write him off given the lack of games etc over the last couple of years. 

I expect that around March, when it has warmed up,  we will see Cantwell have a purple patch till the end of the season..  

I'd take a pre- injury Dack over Cantwell any time.

I don’t think he’s been poor overall tbh I think he needs help sometimes I think he’s a level above some of the players in his thinking when he gets the ball but he needs to adjust to that
