January Transfer window

Hilarious post. He got everything about behind the scenes like GB, Kimberley, Sutton leaving, Cheston and Slivester leaving. Owen, Gestede, Park, Wright, Baker coming in behind the scenes.

That's before we got to transfers in the summer like Weimann, Toth, Batth, Beck, etc.

He was right about Forshaw coming in wasn't he?

How many of those have happened since Park left? You’ve missed, or ignored, the point. The point made was that Park was Nixons leak. You’ve then quoted a load of things that Nixon got right while Park was still at the club.

I still think Jeffrey Schlupp would be a pretty good signing. He'll probably have better offers though.

Bamford I'd wager would be a horrifically expensive flop, and that's if he even stayed fit.

I got mixed up at first between Jed Spence and Jed Wallace and couldn't understand why people were moaning about that! Now I understand. Would be extremely disappointed with that.

BBD would not be without a slight element of risk but he's a lot better than what we've currently got. I'd certainly take him but as with Schlupp difficult to see him choosing here if Sheff Utd (where he did quite well) and Sunderland are after him.

Overall, I think have to hope we have other exciting irons in the fire the media haven't caught up on yet.

Firstly please read before responding

I said ‘since park has gone’

forshaw was mentioned on Twitter by an account hours before Nixon did so taking this window insolation ‘since park has gone’ (vital this part of the sentence)

Kitching - no mention

sanderson - no mention

forshaw - broke online well before he mentioned it

Park is his mate he’s not there to drop feed information like last summer where he got the majority right

firstly all them leaving happened before Park arrived. Baker and Wright came in before Park arrived. Nicko had Adam Owen from before Park came in.

on signings, no one had Sanderson and seems to be done very quickly.

The behind the scenes departures all happened before Park arrived. Nicko had everyone. He had Wright and Baker joining us before Park arrived. Plus Adam Owen joining.and Gestede role behind the scenes.

He will knew Park well I bet but he has other sources at Ewood for sure

Park was arriving he knew what was going on hence the information he was able to drip feed

so my point still stands using this window alone as isolation what news has Nixon broke that’s come to fruition before anybody else?

please let me know

How are Wallace and Bamford past it at aged 30 and 31?

So who should we be signing then? What RF99 plan(or anyone) plan? Who should we be targeting?

You keep trying to dismiss my argument that we shouldnt sign certain players we are linked with because I am not a scout with a handy list of numerous players to hand.

We badly need pace, our attack is so laborious, dull and slow. We should be spending money too, it shouldnt just be players in their 30s on loan.

Jed Wallace was a very good Championship winger in his day. Now, a direct Championship rival deems him as nothing other than a sub to use at the end. He hasnt had any impact all season, is 31 soon and his athleticism will be on the wane.

Bamford is constantly injured and is currently out for 4 weeks. Hardly one to come straight in. He hasnt scored many goals for a number of years with injuries catching up on him.

Im guessing youd want both "because Eustace wants them" and "Harry Leonard says we need experience."

If our January transfer window ended with Forshaw, Sanderson, Wallace and Bamford. Do you fancy us for top 6?

I actually quite liked Wallace when I’ve seen him previously. Just not sure he’s what we need at this time. Bamfords finishing is awful, as mentioned previously.

Phil suggested investing in some very good loans. Im not against that idea at all. Bring in some top quality for the second half of the season. I’ve mentioned Danns already, that’s one I’d like to see us go for. I know he’s young but I think there’s some real quality in there and he could score goals at this level. Was keen for us to look at Barry as well but I think he may have gone to Derby.

I would prefer someone like Thomas Asante or Riis permanently.

Danns I'm not sure on.

Don't mention that, even in jest. Would truly be the stuff of nightmares.

Rumour has it if you mention them together three times they materialise like Candyman.

I don’t get the negativity towards Bamford? He has been a superb player at this level - Eustace is exactly the kind of manager to rekindle his finishing. Have no issues with it. Jed Wallace don’t know enough but isn’t he a very good set piece taker?

"Has been." A number of years ago. Now he he is constantly injured including for the next 4 weeks.

Wallace again was a good winger in his day, but is slowing down after an injury.

When was he good at this level 4 years ago when he was 27?
he hasn’t and doesn’t retain that ability he’s played about 15/20 games per season for 3/4 seasons due to injury and poor form but you think itl be good for us?

sorry but that’s a very poor take

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean by that?

I probably didn’t explain it very well - hopefully the following details will help (if not I’ll try again!!)

For court number 8 (the one the Venkys case is list for):

Cases 1-9 are described as ‘for admission’

Cases 10 - 58 are ‘after case misc matters’

Cases 59 and 60 are ‘final matters’

There are then a couple of further categories after that.
