Sunderland going for it hard , wish we had owners as aggressive

I've not been following any rumours this window but surely we are going to go for it hard too.

Great FFP position which will soon disappear.

Great manager ( who may disappear soon if we are not careful )

Very good position in the league. Seemingly great team spirit. Players performing to their maximum ability.

Scouting network working really hard.

No impediment to our billionaire owners sending money.

Generous owners who never refuse to sign a cheque.

What an opportunity. What is holding us back ?

I suspect the UK board have been told not to bother asking India as the answer will be “No”.

Every recent action points to Rovers having to be self sustaining.
They’ll only send money to stop us going into administration IMO “to save face”.

Oh, thats a shame, I want administration.. 14 years of these fools is enough!

Would Wycombe sell kone? Surely cheap and we could loan Leonard back to them, kone has scored alot and would be worth a shout as one of 2 attackers coming in.

Why would he be cheap????

Personal guarantee required for all remittances. Venkys now require the club to be "self-sufficient" so shrinking the losses means downsizing and relentless cuts to the wage bill. They have no interest in  promotion and after 14 years of failure they've given up.

Couple million easy. Probably end up at Luton as they have just nabbed their manager

Could be something in Sean Longstaff, Everton linked with him for around £20m

I think if we position it right we could go for a double swoop and get Isak at the same time for £1.2m (paid over 17 years), maybe offer them Jack Vale and Garrett on loan in return

I believe we’ve still got some magic beans left from the Maguire transfer debacle.

Forshaw is cover isn’t he. Can’t really see the issue with him on a deal till the end of the season and only likely to feature is circa 5-10 games.

Travis and Trondstadt clearly first choice with Buckley probably looking to feature more in the absence of Baker.

Forshaw brought in as 4th choice maybe 5th if he opts for JRC in there as well.

I can't see how you can't see the issue. Baker was 3rd choice. He's gone and we've brought someone in who you say is 4th choice to replace him? That's downgrading.

Sunderland have been reading @chaddyrovers posts.

If Sunderland and Sheff Utd are fighting it out for him, we've never stood a chance (thanks Venky's, that's on you)

I did mention this previously. We haven't tried I believe

Surely Dembele will come to Rovers... Eustace knows him and he played well under him.

Can't sign him as he already played for 2 clubs already.

Why would sign 21 years old striker then loan ours to them. Plus factoring it they just their manager to Luton today.
