Because the Manager working miracles to have us in the play off places and who has worked with him before, badly wanted him. Dembele has unquestionable talent and pace and Eustace knows what he needs to improve Blackburn Rovers.

Current status of the squad;

4 of our main starters (Carter, Pickering, Travis and Ohashi), and now our best player (Tronstad) all injured.

We already had nothing up top, now we have nothing in the middle either... these simpletons need to act now and help Eustace out.

I honestly had a feint bit of hope that they wouldn't pull this shit again, and that they'd back the gaffer at least a little - how foolish of me.

The point is dembele has attributes that none of our players have. (ACD to a certain extent but he's still raw).

He's quick, direct and can beat his man. Who else in our team has that ability? We've been crying for a dembele type wingers for years and we still havnt succeeded. We are slow and lack so much creativity. 
Eustace had worked with dembele before so, for me, it would have been a good signing....However he cost money so that's the reason we've gone for a young, inexperienced kid on loan.

For me, the brief hasn’t changed. We still need the ‘Right’ ones. Sure, I’d have preferred them all holding the shirt up on Jan 1st, but that’s not realistic.

I think @callumrovers posted if we’d be happy with O’brien, Dennis and BTA earlier in the thread. Well, it’s a yes from me, and if you said we could have them all signed on Deadline day, or spin the wheel to get whoever we could do, earlier, I would rather wait.

Woe betide them if they fuck this up though!! 🙈🤯

Including Hilton, and omitting Wharton, Garrett, Leonard and Gilsenan, that's 24 registered players for our squad.

How are we going to get the 4 we desperately need in considering we can only register 25?

2/3 would likely need minimum 2/3 weeks to get up to speed considering haven’t played much or at all in Dennis case

We’re at a crossroads here our league form is poor

our start midfield is gone

we we are struggling badly to score

We’re still in there and badly need help and these next 3 games could quite easily shape the season if it goes wrong well we know where the blame lies

It’s not always about goals and assists. He kept Brittain back in our half all the time he was on. Brittain only got forward at the death.

Question: Would you keep Garret on for the season over Forshaw after the 60 minutes we witnessed?

I know its only 60 minutes, but he got turned alot in midfield, easy to pop it around and struggled to keep up. He tried Il give him that, but looked off the pace, put a couple challenges in when he was close, but overall looked past it, but again was only one 60 mins. 
For all Garretts inexperience, least he can get around a pitch... Just wondered what people would pick. From what I have seen hes no better than a current Garrett or JRC. I can see why theye got him in for peanuts, but not sure we can be asking him to start games.

So you've agreed he's better than what we have but above you've said "no loss to us". We need players in to improve us, he would.

We're going down a hole here because he won't be coming but for me, he we should have got him in last window.
