The question that I suspect we'll never get an answer to. They'll drive the club deeper and deeper into the ground before they're gone.

i've always stated guys ...the V's consider themselves royalties and upper caste in a deeply caste rooted environment and the snowball incident was like a revolt by commoners which left a deep rooted hate for us ...and this deathless slow death is a form of punishment ... we were always a financial vehicle with boasting rights ...they were never interested in football , thier hometown club PUNE FC died few years ago.

Some nefarious a.hole used their clout with SBI and took instrument for foreign investment and Vs were on for free publicity and bragging rights. This is what i believe is happening ...

"I'm not aware of anything imminent or being on the table."

The usual line again.

Mentions wanting a left back as Pickering is out until March. No mention of a midfielder even though Tronstad is out until March so we are going to have to put up with sub standard midfielders in Buckley and especially Forshaw until then.

Eustace isn't the person that's going to be able to give meaningful updates on transfer progress, so if you're relying on his daily interviews for anything of substance I think you're going to be disappointed.

Who we really need is the latest unqualified weasel in the chicken hatch; Gestede. Our Rudy was going to ensure that he communicates with the fans more often.. then immediately tried to pull the wool over our eyes in his first communication, and hasn't been seen or heard of since.

It's revenge for the snowball.

They have now beaten the 14 year record set by The Count of Monte Cristo.

If they are not satisfied soon then they are just plain evil.

If/when they do leave, we should carry on with the grudge. They shouldn't get away with it that easy. The world needs regularly reminding was a set of slimy fuckwits they are.

Videos, pics and articles need writing en masse every "liberation day" till and beyond their deaths.

Joe Haverty, for the even older ones. He was 5-3”. I remember seeing us line up with Dougie, 5-7 ish, Bobby Craig, 5-5” and Joe Haverty 5-3” all in the forwards.

Ronnie Hildersley and Paul Shepstone. Ronnie was 5-4 but surprisingly, as I seem to remember him being tiny, Shep reported at 5-8 on wiki !

Oh good, having Trav back will be like a new signing. Keep the fax machine off...

... 😉

Thank fuck Trav is back... Missed him the entire time he's been gone... At least we have one back out of him and Sonny.

He won't be the same alongside Buckley or Forshaw sadly. I imagine he'll spend most of his time dropping deeper to cover for them. The reason he was better is he could get forward more with Tronstad in midfield. I hope people don't get on his back like some people are blaming Eustace right now.

It will always remain a mystery.

But it's clear that whatever the reason is, it's a scumbag reason.

I can only think of two realistic reasons (if you assume that the rumours they have had serious offers and turned them down immediately):

1) There are skeletons in the closet they don't want investigated.

2) Pride/Not wanting to lose face by selling and essentially admitting to failing.

I don't think there have been any Indian-based owners of UK clubs previously or currently (although I may be wrong), and if so we are unfortunately the precedent for how owners from that culture may behave. It's also possible that they've had offers but they've always been contingent on them writing off the debt, which they are unwilling to do, but without knowing if or what offers have been tabled, we can't know for sure.

Let's hope this fraud case in India ruins them.

Apparently, for Kargbo, we've bid €800,000 which works out at around £600,000 ish? (I think)

Getting a bit closer to 700,000, but it's a decent time to be buying in Euros.

I get where you're coming from, but I trust Trav a lot more in doing that as I'm sure many others do.

Bit of a joke with people getting on Eustace's back though, got to say... He was doing brilliantly until the injuries started.
