Cryer was the last one to have a real pop I think about Kean?

If I recall the infamous "Time to go Steve" front page was a LT opinion piece .

Cryer may well have wrote it, but they still didn't want to risk having their Rovers reporters name against the article

Karbgo

The move is now seemingly gathering pace and the Italian media is growing insistent on the potential transfer.

Corriere Romagna have reported today that Kargbo will leave the Italian club before the end of the ongoing January transfer window.

I think we can all be fairly confident that this deal is going to happen, which for me, I'm okay with.

It's guaranteed to be the only permanent/fee we will be paying though.

Not acceptable.

Do we know that it is a permanent transfer and not a loan with a ludicrously overpriced buy option included?

I imagine this guy is the answer to both our striker and winger problems.

I could also see a left back being bought in on loan at a push before the deadline, which would free up Beck for the left wing too.

And that will be that.

Even so, could you imagine the paper running with anything like that nowadays?

Even if we went the way of Bury one day it would just be a huge shrug of the shoulders.

"They did all they could".

I think it’s really salutary to read these BTL comments because it shows that the fanbase has been largely gaslit into accepting mediocrity.
The whole “know our place” mindset is really quite deflating.

No ambition for better. Ever.

Exactly, and that’s why any dissenting voices in (what’s left of) the crowd are in a small minority.

You could have advised a trigger warning and blurred that insufferable fool's face out, it's made me instantly very angry seeing him!

Oh shit. Sorry. I've amended it 😁

move will happen on deadline day, with swag and pasha guarding the p.c,making sure nobody can press the submit button,in a move of amazing grace and nimble athleticness a disgruntled employee lures swag away with a custard tart and then puts pasha in a half nelson, the submit button is then duly pressed and kargbo is our player🙂

'Lacks understanding'.

Oh the irony, The Real John Smith.

January 24th: ‘’When the window concludes, we’ll have a much clearer picture of what was sanctioned and how much was spent.’’

February 4th: ‘’Did you see the fees that mediocre players were going for towards the end of the window? We cannot compete with the majority of clubs in this division. Promotion is looking less likely by the day this season so we’re much better off keeping our powder dry for the summer.’’

Steve Waggot is like a caricature of a used car salesman. Can’t stand the guy and makes my skin crawl when I read his nonsense or see him speak. Doesn’t give a single shit about rovers.

I've always thought Swagg looked like a Viz caricature of a sleazy agent. Sadly he's real and the joke's on us.

Suhail Shaikh/Pasha/whatever he calls himself looks like that thick kid at school who ate wax crayons. It all boils down to him not putting his neck on the line to tell the owners what we need to maintain a promotion push, again. Combined with a complete lack of football knowledge or interest. The coward needs to be forced to speak to the fans about his continual failures.
