I’m watching lowly Hull City tear Sheffield Utd apart. Hull have the kind of attacking quality that we can only dream of.

We really are a tinpot outfit under the MuthaCluckers.

If we were to sign Kyle Joseph from Blackpool and loan gelhardt from Leeds I bet most of this forum would be against it

If they won't spend when we're in the top 6, no FFP restraints and banking £40m in transfer fees then they never will.

I genuinely think well go into oblivion under venkys in the not too distant future. They've lost all interest even compared to the Mowbray days.

Can see L1, L2 and administration at some point.

JE will do the same as JDT at the end of the season.

Sad times after a promising start.

Your analysis is spot on. This is a downsizing operation in order to reduce the losses to a more manageable level from Venkys point of view. As an aside what the f*** has Guestede achieved in the last 5 months with no senior players contracts extended and a rehash of the summer transfer target Kargbo.

Kamara is a good player, probably what every championship team would want in a winger - Quick, direct and has the ability to beat his man.
Gelhardt has similar traits, perhaps gets more stick because he's not really settled anywhere.
Both players would make a huge difference to us.

The Joseph signing , I think, is so bizarre. Imagine the uproar if we'd signed a league 1 striker for up to 2million? Isn't this St Johnstone striker probably on par, if not a better option? We could probably snap him up for half of what Hull have paid.

Will never happen.

When push comes to shove they will put in the absolute bare minimum to keep it ticking over.

i really do believe they are putting absolutely nothing in,they`ve lost whatever strange interest they had and now parasites like swag and his cronies are just picking up their inflated salary and keeping the club running on life support for their own gain,it will all come to a head next summer when we have no one to sell that will bring in the big money

I’ve no idea if any of the players we’ve been linked with are any good. I don’t know much about them.

Well buying players no guarantee for success..Sheff U with Cannon and Breo getting spanked 3-0 by Hull at home!!

Overall it will do. They'll prove their worth over the remainder of the season.

Tonight wasn't a good result for them but it happens in the championship. I'll be surprised if they don't go up automatically.

Not sure if you or sg are right now, I'd have agreed with you in the past but it does now feel like a determined asset strip of the playing side and Swag is obviously just trying to keep his £300k p.a. coming in until the last possible minute or until he retires whichever comes sooner.

We'll know for certain in summer 2026 I guess when the **** properly hits the fan if it hasn't already done so by then.

It’s good to hear some actual anger about how the club is run. Waggott gets such an easy ride and he really shouldn’t.

Interesting admission off whoever the co-host was that because of our good league position he tends to ignore the off field shite (or words to that effect). That sadly sums up the majority of our fan base.

We can’t even muster a single Venkys Out flag on match day. It really is tragic.

Have I? 🤔

I just want to see some quality player signings in the next 10 days including a quality striker signing

In the summer you were expecting us to spend a decent amount and that never happened. I’m not sure what would make you think that they will spend now. Just don’t see it. We all know that we desperately need signings but they have made it clear that it’s bargain basement stuff. What was our last decent priced signing? I mean a player around the £3m mark. Would it have been Szmodics.

Hope so - with Leeds

We are currently 6th and one quality striker signing means we will get playoffs. And the chance of promotion. Plus that more assets on the balance sheet.

To your last question. The summer when we signed Brittain, Hyam and Szmodics.

Only if that quality single striker is Mbappe.
