Well - outdone ourselves in January as normal, played ourselves out of playoff contention without even signing anyone who could be considered a candidate for the starting X1.

If they wouldn't even back him with ANYTHING at that point, there can really be no recovery from that. A total disgrace and betrayal. They are scum.

It’s irrelevant, he was an out of work manager who isn’t going to turn down a job offer. If he’s then been made promises that haven’t been kept then like JDT there will be a tipping point. 
 

Remember there is ‘no impediment to funding’.

That's EXACTLY why I didn't renew this season. They simply don't have a clue

I think tbf a decent striker usually costs money. That's why we never get one despite us always claiming it's the primary target. We're still awaiting an Adam Armstrong replacement, let alone a BBD one or a SS one.

The other positions could maybe have been filled more cheaply but it seems we couldn't even be arsed doing that.

I got angry before kick off when the club's social media were making the usual fuss about Isaac Dunn, O'Grady Macken and Litherland being on the bench. Whilst I can appreciate that it must be good for the players themselves and their families this should not be happening and it should certainly not be anything the club is boasting about. It is happening because the club has failed to do its job and ensure we have a sufficient squad for the rigours of the Championship. 

To end up in such a state where we are putting three kids on the bench for crucial league fixtures, then turning around and publicising this as though it is a badge of honour to be proud of, shows just how out of touch and amateur this outfit is these days.

A Diallo on loan ala Sunderland would have much more impact than a BBD, Armstrong et al. 

We need a wide player with pace that can take his man on, score the odd goal and create chances for others (in this instance crosses to Gueye in the box - but Cantwell / Weimann could easily up their goal tally if a threatening player out wide was introduced to the mix). 

I'd be asking after Poku to be honest. The season is gone and he won't be fit for a while, but I'd see if I could get him at a discount considering he has less than 6 months left.

To be fair the Social Media Manager (actually I assume we're not big time enough to have that, it's probably a poor sod in the Comms Dept when he's got time away from filming /editing / writing stories on the website) is on a hiding to nothing.

Its getting a little late now. We've lost too many games and are now about to fall through championship like never below. Any signings should have been down early January as it will take weeks to get any panic buys up to standard.

I'm sure Adam Forshaw is a decent guy but it's an absolutely criminal signing that tells you all you need to know about our CEO and the owners. 

Even with Travis and Tronstad a bit of money needed spending on the middle of the park. Money also needed spending at centre back. Early in the window.

It's cost us points. The issues are glaringly obvious and it's a lack of interest in results by the owners... and the quality of our CEO. He's a plodder, with little ambition and his eyes firmly on his bank account.

We might not see another Adam Wharton type transfer again, and when they happen it doesn't get reinvested at all in the squad, lets not pretend it will again on the next one....... so what is the plan?

If you're not going to spend a reasonable amount of money on players when a sale like that happens you might as well forget it..... 

We need answers, Broughton made mistakes but his communication was open, honest and football driven. He had his eyes on reinvesting all of the Raya money.

The owners need to go and they can take Waggott with them.
