They know there's plenty of people like Chaddy who'll get season tickets every year despite the club showing no ambition to get promoted year after year.

We hit that number years ago and it's slowly being eroded away due to age / continued embarrassment (the O'Brien, Brierley, McGuire transfers for a start).

A lot of fans have just walked away. When I hear other supporters singing that our support is shit, I always think "so would yours be if the roles were reversed".

No for o brien for me would Ronaldo viera was worth 7m a few years ago down to 400k 26 year old who can recover and use to play at Leeds. Cheaper and another perm signing. Add kargbo and bta will be happy

15 years of torment. It’s a wonder anybody buys a season ticket. You could stay at home and knock nails through the back of your other hand for nothing !

If the owners were willing to spend anything (I know, I know) , that is a great shout for me

O'Brien is more box to box than a sitting midfielder for me, which means he would be competing with Travis rather than Tronstad, whereas Ronaldo Viera (at least if I remember him correctly) is more a Tronstad type than a Travis,

Obviously in an ideal world you would want cover/competition for both, but with Tronstad missing for the next month or so, a sitting midfielder is of more urgent need than competition/cover for Travis

Heat needs to be turned up on Pasha & Waggott in the ground.

The lack of interest and investment is being laid bare

Get into those horrendous cunts and make them feel the pure hatred

It was turned up, briefly, last Feb. We then beat Stoke, Eustace arrived and it was all ‘get behind ‘em’ again.

Rovers will go back in for Kargbo up bid from 800k to 1 million euros … final bid .. They want 1.2 …. Italian club given a Friday Deadline …

Kargbo is desperate to come … his agent will make it happen from his side But still waiting on this second bid …. But like with Ryo Germain even if the bid is accepted & agreed these guys are in a world of their own !

Thanks for the information unleaded as always. I pass no comment on whether Kargbo is any good or not, personally I'm not keen. That's not the point though - IF the manager and Club think this guy is the player we really need it's insane to think that we would risk letting the entire deal collapse for the sake of 200 k Euros.

Similarly with O Brien - despite our alleged interest in him  read an article on FLW about a week ago that Hull were prepared to pay half of his 40k p.w. wages which we weren't. So despite claiming to be Interested in these players it's all a bit of a charade really because we're not prepared to pay what the selling Clubs want.

In the specific case of Kargbo as well, if there's a Friday deadline, the Preston match goes by the wayside and it's probably too late to do anything else by then. "But we did all we could".

Like I say, bit of a charade.

Keep the Info coming though please!

I'm going to get a load of T shirts printed, with large single letters on the front, which could be used to spell out messages like 'W A G G O T T   O U T !' that would be visible from the Jack Walker stand if worn over other clothes on the Riverside.

Anyone else got any ideas?

It’s utterly bizarre to me why the venkys are still with us, what are they getting out of it? They don’t show any interest, I don’t think they even like football, they bought us to grow their brand but really how much exposure are they getting from a small town championship - at the moment- team. Only way they would get anything would be to make us a premier team but they need to finance that which they have shown they are not willing to do. So what’s the point other than stubbornness and a misguided belief that they can do this on the cheap

Re priority signings: I don’t think there’s much point getting left back cover in on loan on transfer deadline day. That was something we needed 1st January due to Pickering’s injury but it’s almost too late now

That's way down the list of priorities for me. We've got a great player albeit on loan in the LB position.

(Decent) striker

Pacy winger

(Decent) midfield cover

LB cover

I don’t even think that. We are the stripey shirt that you bought on holiday when you were pissed that you’ve hidden at the back of the drawer so you don’t have to look at it anymore.

But it’s a never ending shit circle, literally nobody is benefiting from , everyone is unhappy, really has to end at some point

Bar Carter the talent pool has all dried up so you'd think the situation will come to a head in summer 2026 when either they'll have to try and sell us or at that poiny at least put enough money in to keep us afloat.

I imagine it's still a bit of an interesting one-liner to throw out from time-to-time.

'Oh, we aren't just chickens and property, we also own a football club. Premier League? No, but we are a division above that team the guys in Hollywood own.'

He's a symptom (although he is an odious person).

You could have John Williams circa 1998 as the Chairman and it wouldn't make much of a difference. The fault lies with the owners and they need to be removed.

When the Walker Trust were here I used to regard us as the unwanted train set in the attic. But we had the TV money to keep us competitive then.

 Not for much longer.

Only a matter of time until they are in the Championship, and they will have a much better chance of promotion to the Premier League than us.
