Think young Nic Michalski is very highly rated so it could be that it's time for pastures new for Pears. Toth is an Hungarian international and don't want to sit on the bench week in and week out.

He might be highly rated but hes a kid who hasnt played a minute of proper football. Toth stepped in v Coventry and looked shaky. Pears has gone from a liability to a steady keeper, I dont see how it is time for pastures new.

Hopefully he will keep being steady.

Could Luton attackers Adebayo or Woodrow be available?

Not a chance we'd even think about trying to sign him but Carlton Morris is exactly what we need up front. I wonder how much Luton would take for him as I can see him moving on soon?

Adebayo is too wasteful, put him in the same striker group as Bamford - terrible!

very fanciful i know but can you imagine if eustace does manage to keep us in the top six,it will be panic overdrive in venkyland and in swagland, though after the transfer window closes there is very little they can do about it😆

Another day gone.  Boy am I glad there's no time sensitivity to football matches or the transfer window, imagine the trouble we'd be in if there was!

Suhail is a bigger problem than even Waggott in that he is essentially an extension of the owners.

Venkys are the root problem though. Its not as if Venkys would spend but are being told not to. Its clear they just dont care.

We can't get at Venkys, we can get at Pasha

He should be the full focus of the ire to make him as uncomfortable as possible

That would be my dream scenario - the obvious team spirit and togetherness that JE has harnessed to good effect, comes good as players regain fitness, and we go on another mazy run of ground out good results! Yesss! I can imagine the phone lines from Brockhall to Pune suddenly going white hot with expletives and threats to Waggott's goolies... If I'm honest, that would be my preferred scenario for this season - JE gets to show he is an alchemist of the finest pedigree, the players get the satisfaction of shoving their employer's disdain for them and the fans up their jacksy, and we my friends, get a trip to Wemberlee!!

If there are any players reading this, or even the mighty JE, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do your best to get and stay fit, give the Venksters and the rag-salesman from Coalville a double digit salute and reap the rewards for being the best bunch of committed caring capable team-mates we have seen for many a year. Luton slogged their way out of the division the season before last - team spirit is alchemy, and if you've got a magic formula - DRINK THE FECK OUT OF IT LADS!

COYB!!!

Doesn’t really matter about Pears. Makes sense if something needs to be paid for.

That is the situation now. For me anyway. There are countless players that would have improved us snapped up. It’s over three weeks into the window and we are worse. Out fixtures have been kind this month, and only beat Portsmouth at Ewood. There is no ambition to go up. There never will be with these owners. And we all know that. It’s the hope that convinces you otherwise, which I understand. We will get some players this week, and they will probably be very very underwhelming. Adjusting the mentality now to avoid disappointment. We will never get promoted with Venkys.

Not like we’ve got a chance of the play offs or anything important on Friday is it…

If the window to this date hasn’t been a failure as you stated what has it been? Because something that’s not a failure tends to mean it’s a success or working as expected

I judge a window at the end of it.

8 games in a month is not kind.

Have you been napping each time they've sold all our best players over the last 18 months and then not replaced them?

Asset stripping is where those responsible enrich themselves. Selling players to make sure the bills are paid is not the same thing.

You seem a bit rattled, Mashed. Is everything ok?

Yesterday you told us that the owners have "run the club very poorly". That's about as far as your 'criticism' of the owners goes. Today "we are better at decision making" than Hull.

Make your mind up.

Our decisions in recent years regarding managerial appointments have clearly been better than Hull's. That doesn't leave me rattled in the slightest - but thanks for your concern for my welfare.
