Wow. He's been fine, but... WOW. This season is dead in the water. Start Toth, and use the £5m (plus any fictional budget) on the likes of Asgaard, Poku, maybe even Beck? Of course £5,000,000 x 0 is what would get reinvested. Obviously, we knew it was a bullshite link, but saying you wouldn't sell Pears for £2m+ is insanity. He's never going to be worth more than ¼ of that value ever again after this window. Well I see your point but if we know he wouldn't be replaced and the transfer fee isn't going to be spent, from my point of view there's no reason to sell him.

TugaysMarlboro
It's the squabbling over a couple of hundred grand for Kargbo that gets me. If it's true that 800k was rejected, but 1m gets him, why the wait? As Chaddy has said we scouted him in the summer, so if he's that high a target, why piss about? Probably wants a £50 goal bonus anyway which would be too rich for us.

Also interesting that a club that needs to be self-sufficient and maximising advertising revenue can only get sponsors that are within 10 minutes of the stadium. I've said it before, but if the club is going to be completely self-sufficient then there is zero reason for having anyone owning the club other than the supporters. If they're not going to sell, and they're not going to fund - WHAT IS THE POINT?
