Very true. They could easily free up a space by swapping Hilton for a young keeper, who wouldn't need to be registered to play their part due to age.

There's also a likelihood that one of the LB/LW/ST will be a young loanee under the age of 21 (Jayden Danns for example) - therefore also wouldn't need to be registered.

All loans need to be registered, even if they are under 21.

Yeah, it really does... Especially when we've supposedly been chasing him for a while, if he does well at Luton then a bigger team will come in for him and be way out of our budget range, our loss is their gain and potential further financial return, sigh... Likely a missed opportunity, unless it turns out his level is League 1 (which is what I will now be hoping for 🤣).

Rovers clearly like to act on a whim though, let's sign this unproven player from the Italian Serie B because of the YouTube reel some dosser has posted... Rather than this young up and coming lad already plying his trade in English Football and terrorising the league below us.

From what I’ve seen of the lad he could have been the new “ Tony Field “.  Possibly before your time. Of all the names we’ve been “ linked with “ I think he has the most potential.

The thing I'm least looking forward to is when the window slams shut, we've brought in a couple of no-marks / super cheap kids on loan and we hear Waggott crooning about how we've supported the manager. 

I'd almost rather us bring nobody in. It'd be a shot in the arm for all the Venky apologists. Even if we pulled a couple of big signings out the hat, it does feel too late after the January we've endured.

Currently on loan from Toulouse. Had a lengthy injury earlier in the season but hasn't really gone straight back into the first team since returning. Unused sub in the last two games.

You'd think with Whittaker leaving that they would want to hold onto him. Probably not true anyway 😅

To be fair, earlier in the season he carried them to any result they got. If he signs for us and gets up to speed our LW problem is fixed I'd say.

Cissoko is out with a groin injury according to Transfermarkt, he's played 32 minutes of football since the 19th of October 2024 😅
