neophox Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Seems Thelo transfer has start spinning some things at Luton... but we will see....asked some days ago who of Adabayo and Woodrow we would prefer? Some said Morris. Quote
TommyRovers Posted January 29 Posted January 29 I don’t think Elijah Anuoluwapo Oluwaferanmi Oluwatomi Oluwalana Ayomikulehin Adebayo would come cheap 4 Quote

yeti-dog Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Just now, Tugayisgod said: Adebayo just reminds me of Gueye tbh. Need a different kind of striker to compliment the ones we have I was just thinking the same thing, especially now Gueye is performing a bit better. I'd prefer a smaller, nippier striker, is there a young Mo Salah out there? I'd also happily take the young lad from Liverpool, Jayden Danns, as he looks like he might be a bit of a unit but has the skills to go with it. 2 Quote

AVE1875 Posted January 29 Posted January 29 I was interesting in figuring out our registered squad list following on from a few posts on here and wondering how many spaces we have left, ignoring all of those under 21 (apart from ACD as he is in on loan) we currently have 23 players registered? So on the basis of this, we have 2 registration places available unless in the absence of doing this on my lunch break (like an absolute sad act) I have missed something? So, if we are to sign more than 2; we need someone to leave / go out on loan from the above list OR they need to be U21. Most of the players we have been linked to have been over 21 other than Jayden Danns, but can't see him being a permanent addition... Quote
Popular Post damo100 Posted January 29 Popular Post Posted January 29 So depressing being a Rovers fan, how many more years are we to put up with the utter shit show. Best transfer would be a taxi ride to the retirement home for Waggot and for Venkys to finally fook off. I'm tired. 13 Quote

Presumably Scott Wharton would be unregistered (if he was even registered in the first place) given that he won't be back this season. 3 Quote

Wharton isn't registered as he is injured, but Hilton is, so your number is correct, as are the rest of your assumptions 1 Quote

Missed out Joe Hilton on that list, but Scott Wharton hasn't been registered because of his injury, so still at 23. So yes, unless anyone leaves only two can come in unless they are a under 21 permanent deal, of course we could always not register someone for the second half of the season, but no chance they will do that. As I have mentioned, and a few others two, to get an extra spot it would be worth not registering Hilton and let Michelski be 3rd choice for the rest of the season. Gav Posted January 29 Posted January 29 To expect this, or any transfer window, to go any different means we've not been paying attention over the years. We wait every year for loans from the Premiership and hope they throw us some crumbs. We still have a healthy fanbase, people want to support the club, even after the shit show since 2011, if only these chicken **** would sod off. Venkys out - Nothing else matter. 7 Quote

RevidgeBlue Posted January 29 Posted January 29 I suggested Adebayo a fee weeks ago as the calibre of player we should be aiming at if we wished to make a statement. As his estimated market value is £8m - £9m can't see there being too much in that link. The lad that's been on loan to Plymouth sound more promising than Kargbo imo if fit , but do we not really need some permanent signings in? Quote

Any serious club would. In the next 18 months we have Hilton, Brittain, Hyam, Batth, Weimann, Travis, Tronstad, Forshaw, Hedges, Dolan & Siggurdson all leaving for nothing. Of course some of those aren't worth extending, but it's still squad members we will need to replace. Plus Beck, Sanderson and ACD's loans all expring this summer. All loans is doing now is kicking the can down the road even further, we need 3 really good, cash signings that can be given a platform to play, and if we don't make the play offs sell on again in a year or two and repeat the process. Sounds how a football club should be run. Yet, after 14 yrs of our great owners, owning us, they haven’t grasp this concept. 1 Quote

After the last transfer debacles these cretins make it so hard to support the club with much enthusiasm. 3 Quote
