Anyone claiming Kargbo is a done deal needs a bit of calming down I think 🤣 he’s not even sat on the medical table yet. not to mention,he`s got to face the swag test of our slimy one trying to reduce his wage before he`s signed and then the final step of someone attempting to use the pc to register the signing, duncan mcguire was in the building (or near to it )and that did`nt go to plan, never underestimate the nefarious nature of our board

A more open game here in the championship maybe than the Italians who like to defend a lot look with our money that they are choosing not to spend we should be after better but writing him off before a ball is kicked is unfair We all try to pick the worst before tbry are even here let's give the lad a chance. He looks like he has bags of energy and doesn't mind running at people and having a shot. He could be exactly what the team is after. We can only wait and see I feel he will fit in well to our squad.

Our bid was rejected alongside €6m from Union Berlin and €8m from Luton. Moving on… There is absolutely no fucking way they've been sat on £4m all January and watched us piss away 8 games with no reinforcements. Not a chance.

I think they've already spent it. They've spent £25m this season (with no fee listed for the loans they're undoubtedly paying for too). And we wouldn't spend roughly the same for Aasgaard. Is he a CF or a Winger?

That was obviously before Kargbo news broke. Really can't see us spending more money on another permanent winger, unless someone else is leaving - would be great though.

Ghost7
The not receiving the full fee logic is insane btw as a reason not to sign players. Considering the buying club still acquired their player. You do what they did you moron. It isn't a surprise to most fans that the full sum doesn't arrive in one go, just as it doesn't go out in one go.... If you can't spend the amount you want though, it isn't a good offer is it? In that it isn't structured well enough for you to use it, so you don't accept it... but the reality is that isn't the real reason they didn't spend much in summer. So that was more Steve Waggott drivel. People eat this up. That was a £17.4m sale, those are the facts.

No but it’s like being at a charity auction bidding £15 for Alan Shearers title winning shirt, you know you aren’t winning but putting your hand up makes you look like you are involved
TheRevAshton
Glad to hear we’ve got money to spend, they’re trying bless them! Just read that we’ve also had a £20m bid rejected for Vinicius Jr - our fantastic Venky’s, and the board, are trying their best… Edited January 30 by TheRevAshton

Cherry Blue
Maybe wrong thread but still related. What do we need to reach playoffs? Forget top 4 as these will now makeup 2 promoted & 2 playoff places. To reach playoffs we need to win this mini league shown below or at least come runners up. ~ 17 games remain to get another 34 points?? That would put us on 76 points which could be whats needed. Thats an average of just 2 points per game. Leeds are currently top with an average of just over 2 points per game. ~ facts against us include current form, injuries, owners lack of interest (understatement), management it would appear not wanting to progress. ~ facts in our favour include possible new signings, injured players coming back, we won 6 games on the run not long ago.
