Have we reinvested any of the Wharton or Szmodic money?

I have commented where and what we have done we done with Szmodics and Wharton money to pay the bills and pay the debt off

The money for Gally,Ennis and Whalstedt paid for our signings in the summer

Yes I agree here

Is it not understandable for supporters to be dissapointed that the best they could do is bring In a 34 year old midfielder who struggled for minutes at a team in relegation trouble?

I was disappointed we didn't used more the money received to buy a more quality proven striker

Look at Millwall lose a player and within a week have broken their transfer record and also signed up other players.

Yes they have but our owners have decide to used it cover the debt

It's taken us all month to sign Kargbo, shouldn't have been a difficult deal to do considering the price and no other teams in for him

I have explained that clearly we were chasing other targets but couldn't agree a deal or that club had a change of management meaning that player was back in favour.

If they are serious about this Egyptian pay the god damn 3.6 million 😂 it’s nothing this day and age Christ. Don’t know much about him but if he’s as good as some say fair play. Still don’t think he will be enough tho, RW needs addressing if we’re going for another big lump up front we just don’t create enough, or have the pace to counter teams. Would love obrien to rediscover his form here also, undoubtedly a class act in this division on his day, he just needs to find his home and will cover LB.

competition brings the best out of everybody. Always look to improve positions regardless of how well certain individuals are doing.

give eustace the tools and he will get Blackburn out of this division.

Hatred? Stop being melodramatic. People are frustrated that we have replaced a player who was a decent 3rd choice in Baker with someone who Plymouth happily released because he wasnt good enough to make their team. Hes been poor so far for us. We are in a position where we need a push, and midfield is an area where our main 2 have both had injuries. Does an ambitious club replace a departing 3rd choice with a veteran to be "4th/5th choice?" You know it doesnt but you defend it and start talking about hatred.

You are frustrated by Forshaw signing and you never give him a chance

You have repeatedly shown a lack of standard. You keep saying things like "oh should we not sign anyone then" as a defence for not signing what we needed or wanted.

lack of standard? laughable comments coming from yourself.

We have a list of targets and we couldn't get our first targets so we moved onto others. That how transfer windows worked in the modern day

You didnt seem too impressed with Kargbo last week and kept calling for a Championship experienced player. Now hes signed, no question marks whatsoever. You can say if its not what you wanted yet still "back" him and hope he does well.

I have said give Kargbo a chance and I haven't made a comment whether he is good signing or not cos that will be decided by his performances.

I made suggestions on who we could sign by players I watched this season and previously and given I have very little knowledge of the overseas market so kept my suggestions to UK based players instead of saying I'm not a scout comment

For every signing plucked from obscurity, there are 2 or 3 that didnt achieve anything. Obviously we might have plucked a hidden gem in Kargbo, lets hope so. Although we arent well protected with his short contract if he does. But the frustration is at the owners for again not seemingly backing us when we need it.

of course RF99 but all I said is be open minded

If true, proves rovers are pissing about again, they apparently offered 4mil euros for a striker, which is around 3.5mil, so why ask to take this lad on loan if they have 3.5mil spare that they offered on another player.

It's because it never happened...It's just leaks and lies from the board. We've not got a sniff to spend and we're praying and hoping for last minute loans.

Yup in these days of inflated Transfer fees 3.6 million is peanuts for a star player like him …But hope they hang around too long for this chap … if it’s not looking it’s getting over the line they should move on quickly… but he is worth the wait ..  ideal for the championship imho ….. It reminds me of the Cantwell deal .. I all ways thought he was never coming here and he would go elsewhere but he ended up here …. Here’s hoping they pull it off….

do you think he would be worth the money?

what are his strengths of his game and do you think its a good signing if he comes?

A complete smokescreen.

Not happening in a million years.

Why would he be 3rd choice?

Tronstad is out for another month yet, if O'Brien came in and played well and we're getting results, then Tronstad would have to bide his time to get back in. It's how competitive football works, nobody should be an automatic pick.

Because Tronstad has probably been our best player this season and walks back into the team.

From the highlights I've just watched of him his style of play looks like Ronaldo (the actual one, not the Portuguese lad).

Obviously not that level because he's the best player I've ever seen - but that's what I'm seeing.

All the Szmodic money all the Wharton money and the Raya money was needed to pay bills? If so because the owners are refusing to help .Venkys out

On your last point,  we should have quite a bit of budget left then because so far we have missed out on all our top targets

They would have preferred Kitching to Sanderson as he can play left back also,  probably would have been more expensive

They would have preferred Baker to stay ,and he would be on more money than what Foreshaw is on.Surely?

Links with Wallace ,Schlupp,Bta, apparent 4 million bid in for the fella from the Swiss league all more expensive than Kargbo

So I presume you believe we will spend a few Millon between now and deadline and if we don't you will be critical of the club?

No chance are we spending £3.6m on anyone. And we are getting to the stage where if he is our main target and it doesnt happen, we just wont get anyone in time.

An issue no one else has touched on. But I think it is pride month and the club has a rainbow flag on social media behind the badge. I think its something the Championship promotes throughout the month.

Mohamed clearly has some very strong and archaic views and has refused to play in matches in the past more than once. Would he just not play throughout February if he did sign?

Would rather have this guy than the likes of Bamford .. his game is ideal for the championship.. strong as an ox and has scored at all levels …. Like Eustace said he wants a striker to score 8/9 goals till end of the season.. he would deff do that …..

Think other clubs will guzzle him up especially the likes of Hull even if we agree a few with FC Nantes …It’s too public now …. Nixon is just doing his job putting it out ……

Tomorrow’s News Today courtesy of Alan Nixon ..

BLACKBURN have been told to up their bid for Nantes striker Mustafa Mohamed….

Rovers asked to take the Egypt international,  27, on loan on full wages — but the French club prefer a permanent move and want £3.6million either now or in the summer.

If Rovers do sign a striker by tomorrow, they will let local lad Harry Leonard go out on loan — with Plymouth and Portsmouth keen.

Leonard will be staying if his back injury is serious …

looks like they hanging around for the Egyptian Goal machine …. IMG_6916.jpeg.5ac33e2a1bf9b23c684c0df6000a8593.jpeg

Hasn’t Leonard had a “ back injury “ previously ? From my experience it can be “ A friend for life “.

We are fifth in the league Nantes have asked for £3.6 million pay the fee, pay the wages of the player and surely we are more attractive due to our position in the table(if up against Hull)

If club ain't prepared to pay what is needed they should be walking away now and going for others not trying to haggle

We only sign players when no other clubs are interested. Given a choice they always chose the other club. Who was the last player we actually won a competition to sign ?

The money is what is more attractive. There’s nothing more to say.

The fact they've said no to a loan move rules us out, sadly. That £3.6m will be earmarked for wages and stationery.
