January Transfer window

If the board and the owners want to even partially redeem themselves and show the fans they are serious about a promotion bid, then they have to do it with action over the next couple of days. Unleaded mentioned last night the fact that the Mohamed interest is out  has alerted other clubs, and that doesn't help, even if we don't know who they are.

Whether Danns is in addition or alternative I'm not sure but you would assume one or the other and even though Danns is obviously a big prospect, it would be disappointing to just end up with a loan striker with no real experience.

O'Brien would love as well but looking slim.

All gone n all then looking like a frustrating couple of days, just hope for once we are pleasantly surprised by those in charge.

I won't hold my breath .....

Who’s got access to Nixon’s patreon?

Aswell as the thing about the Egyptian lad, seems there’s one titled “Blackburn desperate for Danns” and another called “O’Brien shock as Derby Swansea come in”.

Both seem pretty self-explanatory but interested to see what’s within those, especially the O’Brien one…

They are indeedself explanatory…Forest want to loan o’Brien to whoever pays the largest share of his wages.

Danns  “hey…your dad used to play here & we loved Harvey Elliott…” 🙂

Which is a good thing if it raises awareness of ongoing issues. The conversation going on right now is polite and informative.

Not really.

This is a transfer topic, about transfers. A players decision in a previous match isn't an ongoing issue. What's it raising awareness of?

His religious beliefs are all ultimately by the bye.  The only one that would impact us would be the practice of Zakat - charity.  He'd have to drop his wages completely to come here.

Also not sure how it fits into Eustace squad harmony and 'good group' but again, he's not coming here so won't lose sleep

Footballers aren’t particularly known for their intellect , and we have had a few that iv thought look like they wouldn’t be particularly pleasant in a social setting- el hadj diouf for example, but as long as they are not physically hurting anyone or breaking the law I think we can just let the football do the talking and leave personal and political  beliefs out of the terraces. Certainly wouldn’t be against the signing if by a miracle we stumped up the cash

Danns is a big talent. Plays a lot more mature than his age. Would become a fan favourite here. But no chance in hell we’re signing both him and Mohamed.

Looks a good player from the bits I’ve seen, and physically looks a powerful unit.

I think he’d be perfect for the No10 role behind Gueye.

We've a first team squad of circa 25 men. A youth squad. A women's squad. And then all the staff who support them and others around the club. You think none of them are gay or bi? Statistically there will be, and they'll have friends around the club. Is it worth signing someone who offends that group, and the impact that could have on performance and results?

Yep, if it got us promoted.

Interested to see that Nixon thinks O'brien is keen to come to the Rovers despite the transfer history that came with him and us... Whether that be truth or not!

Regardless of Mostafa's personal beliefs, he is an International Star playing alongside Mo Salah, my 3 year old would be too... Can he do it alongside our wingers?? Maybe what he needs is a bigger insight into Western Culture for his eyes to be opened a bit more to assist in acceptance.

Danns is someone we've been linked to most of the transfer window/a lot of people on here have said would be a good loan. Young and hungry, wants to prove himself and we've had a good partnership with Liverpool over the past few years.

I'd take all three of them if it helps us boost our play off push.

Nobody has he has 9 appearance and 1 start I think was against psv. My bird follows Liverpool so I watch nearly all of there games and all I can say about the kid is his hair is cool.

My LFC supporting friend says he’s a ‘cool players’. A lot of energy, unafraid and takes players on… the type of player that makes things happen. And everyone who comes through the LFC academy these days are tactically sound and hard-working. Would walk straight into our team.

I'd be very happy with Danns but I still think we'd need 2 more in, preferably permanent signings (forward and midfielder).

If he's on the Liverpool bench he most likely as good or better than any players we have up top as none of our attackers would make the Liverpool bench this is true but in his appearance he has been seen in he has the likes of Arnold and Salah feeding him the ball when he comes here that will be dolan and hedges a much more difficult prospect for the young man.

Exactly this, doesn’t matter what striker we have, we need to back it up with a decent winger.

Don't mind Danns, but again a loan player, that will return to his parents club. It's rinse and repeat stuff with this club.

I don't see the problem in getting loan players in. Makes perfect sense to me. We need quality and we can't afford to buy the quality we may acquire by way of a loan move.

We are not planning for the next three seasons. Its all about getting in the play offs this season. We need to focus all of our energies on that short term target and hope for the best.
