We should be Dann sing.

Definitely.

More likely we'll be wallflowers and unkissed in our walk of shame away from the play-offs.

If, by some miracle we made it to the cut-off for a chance of a Premier League return, what's the betting that it would be our six-fingered cuzzins from down the road that would be the major obstacle? Put yer money on it! 😉

Plymouth want Leonard? Think I’ve missed something there aha, who reported this?

Unleaded said Nixon was saying Portsmouth and Plymouth have expressed an interest in taking Leonard on loan.If his back injury isn't serious and Rovers sign a striker plan is to loan Leonard out

You’re obsessed with pace. It’s quality players we need who are athletic and can cope with the demands of the Championship. Harvey Elliott was slower than Hedges but has 10 times the quality.

Danns, from what I’ve seen, is a big powerful unit who is no slouch. He also looks a good footballer who will score and create goals.

Yep obsessed because we are an extremely slow team.

No doubt in Danns ability - We still need another winger and one who is direct. We arnt good enough on the counter.

What have the likes of Plymouth and Portsmouth seen in Leonard to want him on loan?? Madness really, the kid is nowhere near ready.

So less than 48 hours from the window closing and it seems nothing is happening bar we are probably the most likely destination for another Liverpool loan (if they are being generous and don't prefer to send him elsewhere) and still 'attempting' to sign another couple of 'big name' players on loan who we know won't come because we won't pay enough of their wages.

Leonard has plenty about him from what I've seen. Biggest issue is his body is breaking down with injuries in concerning areas early in his career, and he hasn't had enough regular first team football to build up his composure when finishing. His movement and instinctual positioning are very good which is one of the best attributes a striker can have and is something you can't train.

He needs a loan at a level in which he'd be picked week in week out, and some luck with his body. But if he gets both those things you could have a very valuable player coming out of that shell.

If we end up with just Danns on loan in the end and no other incomings then you have to say it's been a horrible window. To clarify: Danns is a player I'd be happy with...but we simply need more.

We still definitely need LB cover given JE recently said Beck has been struggling as of late...and ideally another 2 attacking options. If Tronstad is ahead of schedule in returning then the need for another CM lessens.

I can't see the Egyptian striker coming. It's too late in the day now for Rovers to be able to actually pull that off, regardless of the cost. Even if it was an affordable deal, Rovers would faff around so much that it'd miss the deadline.

Our 'budget' was £1m, give or take. Capex not Opex, but whatever.

Imagine being in the play offs, with a £150m carrot, and investing £1m when you've recouped £35m in the last 12 months

It's completely and utterly inexplicable.
