Seems like Sunderland are in strong for Danns. So with him potentially going there and the Egyptian seemingly beyond us financially, is there a chance we again end up empty handed?

If Danns is let out on loan and we are really in for him then surely we would be favourites over Sunderland

Locality ,relationship with Liverpool with previous loans and less competition for him to get minutes here rather than Sunderland

I would be surprised if Sunderland was deemed a better loan for Danns by his club or the player. He will play regularly at Rovers and can commute daily without any issue and it is a path well worn by Morton, Elliott and Beck. I doubt Liverpool will be too concerned about size of a loan fee or wage contribution, they can afford to just want the best development opportunity available.

There is one other consideration... money (loan fee etc)

Fingers crossed, our previous relationship with Liverpool stands us in good stead

I don't think anyone will be paying a big loan fee for Danns

depends on what we consider "big"

Rovers big money signings are around £1M for a permanent signing.  Sunderland are splashing the cash this window.  which may be the difference between Rovers offering £100K, and Sunderland offering £500K + and extra few million if they are promoted

With 36 hours left, presumably weve had bids accepted and are getting players in to finalise?

Nah, most likely sat waiting and hoping that Liverpool allow us to borrow a kid they have.

They will be lots of things going on and talks between clubs, agents and players.

Get yourself down to Brockhall and be on site reporter for BRFCS for the latest transfers.

Ihneacho medical at boro straight loan deal

just a loan. Not spending any of that £22.5m on a quality striker

Rumours from West Brom that Karlan Grant has handed in a transfer request after falling out of favour with moggers.

Would be a good option, but he'll cost so will never happen.

Would be interesting option for us. Wonder if we will make an approach for him.

Rovers have a good relationship with Liverpool. Look at the development of Beck here under Eustace. Plus Location and its believe Eustace wants him.

Also who says Mustafa Mohamed is beyond us financially?

No chance Sunderland are offering that

Where does he get minutes for them?

If we truly are in for Danns and Liverpool do decide to loan him we will be big favourites imo

I would imagine up front

Isidor is a wide player by trade, only playing up front by default as they do not have any decent strikers

But he has been doing well for them up front, I genuinely don't think with them going so well they will sign Danns with a view of starting him up front and moving Isidor

Even if they did take Isidor out of the striker position who do they drop from the wide positions

He might not even be let out but if he is I do believe we will be favourites .I don't think financial rewards will be that much of a consideration

I guess we could counter this by agreeing to pay severe financial penalties if he's not playing for us. But of course it's a terrible situation if the snake Suhail is essentially forcing Eustace to play a player regardless of his performances.

Mundle and Watson who play wide left for them are both injured

There would also be the option of them rotating rather than running the same 11 players into the ground

They signed Le Fee, despite already having a midfield of Bellingham, Rigg, Neil, Browne & Samed, so the thought of them wanting an extra striker hardly seems ludicrous to me

They have already paid £8 million for an attacker

Ihneacho is a top quality loan for this division it will cost more than our signing of Kargbo

Whittaker was replacing Jones who they sold to Luton for around £5m. Plus Whittaker isn't a striker like Latth is.

Iheanacho last season at this level for Leicester got 5 goals in 23 games for them, So I wouldn't agree that is top quality loan.

I thought They would have gone for Adebayo from Luton or Wright/Simms from Coventry

They have also signed Travers and Giles expensive loan deals for good players at this level

Boro are showing far more ambition than us in the market...surely you can't disagree with that.

They will also add other players most likely before deadline
