Would say they want the fee they have requested. Dropping him would give sides hope/swag of dropping the fee. Could also be too late as he’s playing himself for a move this afternoon

Not in any context at all can the signings of Sanderson and Forshaw be described as “ambitious”.

Sanderson appears to be an adequate replacement for McFadzean, albeit he’s only a loan.

That still does not mean he is an “ambitious signing”.

As for Forshaw being “ambitious”, Strewth!!!

He’s got a pulse and can kick a ball, but that’s as good as it gets.

As I’m sure Eustace would be happy to tell you, what we need is players who are ready and able to go straight into the team and, ideally, better than what we already have.

Are you really confident that after such a poor window to date that we will suddenly pull a couple of rabbits from the hat?

There was a lot of excitement about ACD too but whilst he's shown some class at times, he's not exactly been a roaring success.

I certainley do not expect another signing.  What a farce Venkies are.  Last 3 seasons we have been in playoff spots yet the Venkies have failed to support the team for that extra push.  Why are they so afraid of going back to the prem?
