Maybe so but Eustace said himself after the Bristol City game that Beck has been struggling recently and that he wanted left back cover. That's good enough for me.

I hope this signing is true not because of this signing impacting our squad particularly but just because it’s come out of the blue so hopefully means they can pull something off further up the pitch tomorrow

Wholeheartedly agree on the striker....but I fully expect to be disappointed in that area.

Plus I don’t think Beck is better further up the pitch. He’s a left back not a left winger. Having said that - is he better than Hedges there, definitely.

Also we need to register Hilton cos he is needed as 3rd choice

Nothing wrong with hilton he seems to be a better keeper with r what iv seen than Toth is - lot bigger quicker at getting down and catches the ball and commands his area - he needs a loan then he is the future no1  no douting that

Mostafa Mohamed reminds me of Mido....strong and a great player with pace....he would smash the championship...scored both in the Turkish league for Galatasaray and Nantes in the French league....would be an high profile coup but is his character right?

Dann's had one impressive game..   I've had enough of loaning in these kids. Play Tyjon instead, develop our own...    If we're going to sign a striker it should of the ilk of the Egyptian lad. Show some fucking ambition, lift the group. It gives the kids a quality striker to learn and model their game off too.. Come on... Raya, Gally, Telalovic  cash almost takes us to the necessary sum.. 

People seem to forget the wages we've off-loaded in recent years too!  Dack, Graham, Mulgrew, Gallagher, Szmodics (new contract),  Wharton (new contract),  Lenihan, Brereton..  

I could obviously be way off, and this is only conjecture, but I can't see the lads we've brough in being paid more than the ones we've let leave..  That, compounded with the transfer fee's coming in.. Come on guys..  What are we playing at!

If its just a striker signed then it's been a pathetic window 

Eustace will be majorly disappointed he spoke of bringing in names,experience and quality

Still not replaced Rothwell, Szmodics, Wharton or Brererton.. We desperately need a quality ball carrying centre midfielder, a left back, a striker and arguably a right winger with pace. .
