yankfan
Rumor is Karlan Grant has put in a transfer request. Probably more than we’d pay but if the lads unhappy might be able to get him in the cheap.

I doubt he'd be chomping at the bit to take that challenge on. Despite that they've way outspent us in the transfer window....

Ossydave
Mafoumbi was injured for a while wasn't he? He scored a few weeks ago when back playing, was described as a wonder goal (which was a bit far fetched after watching it).

I'd be surprised if he ever made it here.
Popular Post damo100
Here we go folks, get ready to be disappointed, looking on the telegraph website, sky sports, on this forum etc? We'll most likely sign 1 or 2 more in desperation after we've had weeks to actually add more quality rather than numbers. We've all been here before so do not get yourselves exited over what will be another underwhelming day. Like I said a week or so back, without any shadow, the best transfer we could hope for today would be Waggot being transfered to a retirement home

Popular Post Ossydave
Things that will definitely happen today: 1. Rudy and Swag will have prem teams on speed dial asking for any kids on loan, doesn't matter their position or ability 2. Nixon will drop numerous 'work to be done and 'its possible but Blackburn need to up their offer' type teasers to give people hope 3. Chaddy will tell people to wait till the window closes 4. Pacy winger will get mentioned up to 12 times, maybe more 5. Hilarious Luca Toni jokes on here 6. Every target mentioned this window will end up elsewhere 7. BankEnd Rover
Surprised about Hull going for Danns...Haven't they got a handful of strikers?
ruggles1995
Imo, I would say we need another winger with pace. We’re relying heavily on an unknown to come in and hit the ground from leagues that aren’t exactly great, serie C and B… if he’s no good we’re relying on hedges and Dolan which everyone knows aren’t good enough to be starters. I’d almost say it’s more important than another number 9. Gueye is now looking a real handful and suiting how we play. Yuki will be back soon and we have Leonard. I would almost say the service for strikers is more important than another 9 if we only have enough to get one more in. If we manage to get danns where does he play ? In the 9? I’d say he probably won’t be as effective as Gueye for us, can’t see him being as physical and handful as Gueye. He might be better in front of goal when striking a ball but we need wingers to actually cause issues and get the ball in to the striker. Unless danns can play wing or 10, I’d almost say a winger is more crucial. Wonder what others think ?

They have, and surely a loan will only be beneficial to Liverpool if he is guaranteed game time. If he’s going to be sat on the bench at Hull, I’m sure Liverpool would just keep him. Must make us the better option. Edited February 3 by Rover down South

It doesn’t really matter what he says. It’s what he does that counts . In my opinion he’s already seen enough and had enough. I’d be amazed if he’s still at Rovers half way through next season. sharpysharps86
It all feels very sombre this morning. Aside from the potential of a left back coming in, no real certainty over a striker. We'll be lucky if we get a Fleck type signing at this rate. Lucas João is available on a free. 😂
unleaded
Yuri flew in yesterday so that one looks like hopeful….. He was outstanding during his time at Forest .. https://www.nottinghamforest.news/2020/08/07/end-of-season-report-yuri-ribeiro-shows-class-in-maiden-nottingham-forest-campaign/ Looking less & less likely at this stage is goal machine Mostafa .. Mostafa Mohamed's last 4 Ligue 1 games: - penalty won to secure the draw ✅ - goal in the 90th minute to secure the draw ✅ - winning goal to secure the 3 points ✅ “Mostafa Mohamed will stay at FC Nantes. We need him, the club needs him, and the coach appreciates him. It will therefore naturally remain in Nantes" (Owner of FC Nantes ) Edited February 3 by unleaded
