obsessing over this yet again. FFS.

You never gave him a proper chance and wont cos he came from Plymouth.

It's got absolutely nothing to do with him coming from Plymouth it's his performances for Rovers he's been awful & considering the money we've recouped over many years with these clowns at the helm we could easily have spent money on a Midfielder better than Forshaw

We are on the verge of just signing a cover left back, two appalling reserve players from Plymouth and Birmingham, and an unknown from Serie B after brining in £40m in transfer fees. Even by Venkys standards, that us utterly appalling.

A lot of excellent business being done by many other clubs in the Championship.

It's totally embarrassing what this club has become. Even if we do bring in a striker at this stage, it won't be anyone of any calibre. Personally feel like our striker search is doomed now that Danns has chosen Sunderland.

Actually I'd be very careful writing off Sanderson of just yet he has competed better than most & got stuck in & obviously JE has worked with him before so knows what he brings to the table agree with you on Forshaw so far he has been poor if we had just been more creative we could've got LOB a much better physical player

Allows us to play Beck in a more attacking role. Ribiero is actually not a bad signing tbf.

Beck’s best position is where he’s playing now. I don’t think he’s particularly effective playing further forward full time. Only Rovers could make their one signing in a position where we are really strong.

Yup this, his strength is tackling and stopping wingers , saw his attacking attributes on Friday when he should have scored

Yeah, he gets a rush of blood to the head when he gets near goal. He’s missed a couple like that. Plus he’s better running from deep.

We definitely needed a backup - especially with Duru and Batty hopefully maturing out on loan.

You're right though, and it was shown again by the chance he blazed over against Preston, he's a LB through and through.

I think we have some of the best fullbacks, central defenders and midfield pairing in the league. We absolutely need(ed) better reinforcements than Foreshaw (with Tronstad injured!) and a quality striker to take the pressure off Gueye and Ohashi who are learning the league. This guy is not it, so I really hope the rumours are not true. Kargbo better be good, or we haven’t improved where we needed there either. Cantwell will continue to struggle too if we don’t have quality around him (he may anyway but at least it would give him a better chance)

This is possibly worse than that Leeds deadline day from a good few years ago, when they tweeted out telling everyone to stay up til late, only to announce they'd sold fringe player Matt Smith to Fulham 😂

Hahahahah

Top class left back in the making. Average left winger.
