If those two deals get done (IF!) then Rudy has just about pulled it out of the bag. Dennis is a very good signing and the success or failure of this window was going to come down to the striker signing.

Woodrow is not great and it would have been abysmal if he was our main signing, but he's better than Hedges who he'll displace. Never seen Kargbo play but he has to be better than Dolan.

An attacking line up of Dennis, Woodrow, Cantwell and Kargbo is far > than Gueye, Hedges, Cantwell, and Dolan.

Dennis would be a proper signing and one I'd be happy with, even if on loan. I wanted us to sign him before he went to Watford. Of course, we weren't going to get a European goal scorer at that time, it was more a wishful thought.

He reminded me of Benni in some ways. The guy can finish and is a threat. Him and Gueye with Kargbo buzzing around too could be something special.

I'm not a fan of Woodrow as the sole striker signing, but if it's as a pair with Dennis coming in too, I'm fine with that.

Went to play footy (won 3 - 1 btw) to the news that we were signing Dennis. Come back and its reduced to a loan and we're loaning Woodrow. However Jackson saying "trying to sign both" which means that the Dennis deal will collapse and Woodrow will be our main man.

The signing of Dennis shouldn't gloss over the fact the owners have given a shit budget once again.

Forest will be heavily subsidising his wages the competition wasn't there to sign him and its either pay him 60 and have him training with the kids or pay him 40/45 and have him here in the shop window for 6 months
