I could maybe, maybe, understand if we were piddling around mid table or just above the drop zone but come in wake up you pillocks.  You pillocks in India have had a reet good chance of gettin in the Prem for 4 out of the last 5.seasons.  Do they not know it is the only way they can see real cash.. I see nonother reason but they hate us as much as we hate them.

Pack up your shit and stick to chicken you friggin dream killer no mark idiots.  You have taken this great club and destroyed it an I can't help but feel they won't be happy until we are defunct.

Now challenge to Sir Eustace and the lads, GET IT DONE.  Get us promited in spite of these knobheads Maybe then if we are.premier league we can find a buyer to pluck us from the chicken killers.  I did not like em when they trapped in the first place I fookin hate em now.  Are hit men expensive in India (joke)

Sanderson 4/10 - decent backup but it's a loan spot wasted in my opinion. Should've signed a center-back on a permanent deal.

Forshaw 0/10 - not even good enough as a backup. A downgrade to Baker.

Kargbo 5/10 - a gamble since he's unproven at this level. Could be good, could be bad.

Ribeiro 4/10 - again, decent backup like Sanderson. Not likely to get ahead of Beck in the pecking order, though.

Dennis 7/10 - good signing. Will need a couple of matches to gain match fitness but possess much-needed pace that has been lacking for some time in this team.

Woodrow 3/10 - questionable signing. Was out of favour in Luton. Not convinced at all.

Overall rating: 4/10 - Only Dennis can be seen as a good signing this window as he will improve starting XI. Ribeiro, Sanderson and Woodrow are, at best, decent backups. Kargbo is a real gamble, can't imagine the recruitment team are fully convinced on this one but time will tell. Forshaw is just a horrible one.

I think Sanderson is a good signing tbf, he can cover a couple of positions and seems like he'll slot in no problems when needed.

I reckon Ribeiro will do alright as well tbh.

Kargbo could easily go either way and is a huge gamble.

Forshaw was signed to get us through like 3 games and hopefully he remains out of the starting 11 from now on, poor signing.

Woodrow seems like a poor signing also but I admit I don't know a lot about him.

Dennis should be a very exciting signing but hasn't played for ages so is probably going to be off the pace for some time.

The biggest reason this has been a shite window is that 5 of the 6 players we've signed, won't be here in the summer. Crazy way to operate (you can understand it for Dennis (wages) but the rest?)

Objectively

Forshaw - couldn't get into Plymouth's team down the bottom of the league.
Sanderson - couldn't get into Birmingham's team in L1.
Woodrow - couldn't get into Luton's team, also down the bottom of the league.
Dennis - hasn't played in 9 months.
Ribiero - LB, six month contract.
Kargbo - Serie B player for 6 months.

Final thoughts (for JBiz who can't work it out for himself)

Let's be positive and hope that Woodrow and Kargbo can surprise us, Dennis can get match fit quickly and score some goals and the backup players can provide better backup than Forshaw has done so far.

Let's really hope that Tronstad and Ohashi can come back and Ohashi after a long rest can be as prolific as he was in the opening few games.

Have you just come on to be the negativity police?

It’s not as if the post says everyone is shit and we are all doomed.

Maybe not but it would take a liar to argue the average daily diatribe isn’t anything but your last sentence.

If that’s objectively then I need to resit English GCSE

Why dont you just do what everyone else does and share your opinion on the signings rather than go around just repeatedly implying that its just an echo chamber of negativity? I am no clearer as to what you think.

At least Dennis has a bit of time to get up to speed. Any players signed today were always going to miss QPR. Then it's the cup on Sat. Might not be ready for WBA, but then Plymouth at Ewood. So best part of 2 weeks to get ready for that game and would only miss 1 league game.

Would be lost in the miasma of crap wouldn’t it. Pointing out we’ve had the same owners for 14 years and lost money in every one but this, I mean what’s the point of that when you’ve 95% screaming for Rao investment?

I said recently I’d be happy if the Rao’s, never put a penny into the club again and @RevidgeBlue , a very constant poster over the last decade said I “must be a Burnley fan”

So there you go. As pointless as it was fulfilling your request, I’d rather the club washed its own face all day long.

The first step must be rid this club of the arselicking self preservationists that are literally stealing a living.

Get rid of maggot and the Indian ghost.  Get in some proper football people.  A few that know football and are not afraid to TELL the Venks how it needs to be instead of bendin over for em.

I have no doubt in my mind, as do others, that as absurd as it sounds, the power brokers Waggot et al fabricated our failure to bring in those quality signings kast fee seasons.  Make it look like we tried.  Such low lifes are they that they looked out for their own earnings and bonuses without regard for damage done to anyone else, including players and their families.

If Venks are so worried about money why have their executives been allowed MILLIONS to go amiss do to piss poor managing of contracts and selling players way under market value.  Heads should have rolled for that alone

Also being a bit if a Cynic I always felt the ther hiring of Broughton and JDT was to provide scapegoats for our incumbant man at the top.

Found myself wondering if Waggot got em conviced we do not need to spend.  Why?  Because look how good we are doing now with all our injuries we can ealk it once everyone is back.  FUCKIN EMBARRASSING.

I love my club but shit this is horrible.  Even in our darkest days we have never been ran this poorly.  We did not have a pot to piss in but what we had in droves was heart.

Wow. You’ll fit right in here

Go on then, prove your footballing skills. What's your rating of our transfer activity this window? Do you find it acceptable that we only spent £1 million in total on six signings, whereby three on loan and two on a free? Do you acknowledge the fact that the club now has not spent more than £1 million in a single window during the last six winter transfer windows? Do you know anything about Kargbo that we don't?

I'm trying to be realistic in my judgement but some posters on here seem to be happy to cheer the club on regardless of what is happening.

The problem with signing a CM in a window like this is that it's probably our strongest area of the field at full strength. Our two best players are there, one of whom is our captain. Yes Tronstad is out for a while more and both are high risk in terms of injury and suspensions, but if you're a guy like O'Brien, who should really be one of the first picked at this level, you're going to favor a club where there's a bit more of an opening.

We needed cover there and got Forshaw, who certainly doesn't look like he belongs at this level anymore. Not making excuses as it's a poor bit of business no matter how you slice it, but I think expecting a guy of O'Briens caliber to join in a window like this isn't realistic.

I think the recruitment team has done ok (but no better than that), given our awful, apathetic owners.
