I was one of those begging for either a new keeper or a decent back up too. Pears has proven himself this season bar a few tiny blips but he's been a huge part of why we are where we are now. Hindsight I do feel like Toth was a waste of money. I mean he was dubbed as having won this won that... not seen him play yet I know he was injured but feel bad for him not getting minutes

He was a waste of money, yet you wanted a new keeper or decent backup keeper? Can't follow you there.

Andre Gray leaving Plymouth due to contract extension expiring.

Seems to fit the bill on championship experience - Not arsed that he's ex Burnley.

no thanks

Hedges and Hyam both have 1 year options so I imagine we will trigger those.

LT reported recently that Rovers have opened new contract with Hedges

Some good points philipl but if a player such as Godo is our first choice now (would make sense as we just missed out on him on DLD in the summer), then he should've been announced already.

Godo is in the Fulham first team squad at the minute so they would probably need to bring someone in for him to be loan out

Preston signed Lewis Gibson from Plymouth, really good left sided center back that can also play left back.

Thought he would be ideal for us seeing as its one of the positions we are desperate for, but guessing we can't (won't) even compete with them on transfer fees now.

They have paid £1.5m for him overall.

Yep. That's two with him and Sigurdsson.

Presume Garrett wasn't getting any game time at his loan club.

Next to no playing time at the Gas. Nothing against the lad and hope he makes it but never really seen anything in a Rovers shirt to l suggest he can play at Championship level and looks like Bristol took a similar view re: tier 3 football !

I would hazard a guess we won't spend more that on a player this window.

We see but I wouldn't have paid that for the player and I do we will loan a player in for the centre back/left back role.

I would be using the money either for permanently left winger or striker

Garrett has been recalled.

Best move, need to find him a club where he will play more regular and Yes @RevidgeBluehe wasn't playing for Bristol Rovers under previous manager Matt Taylor. New manager just been appointed there

Worth keeping in case Tron, Baker and JRC are out/knackered? Low wages and I think he could the job better than Buckley but I might be being unfair…

the sacked  bristol rovers manager matt taylor did`nt work out and garrett was a casualty of the situation,i think he`ll thrive somewhere else in the division if given a chance, though not sure he`ll do it at our level consistently

can`t believe o`riordan has`nt played since he was highly regarded at crewe and cambridge are struggling badly, the size of him, you`de think he`d be perfect for the lower leagues

A pal of mine who is a ST holder at Newport County and really knows his stuff, texted me when we got the lad from Crewe to say that he thought we had a real player. He had kept Newport’s star striker quiet, who had caused all sort of problems to Man Utd in their cup tie and think he is now scoring really well at Mansfield Town after a club record fee move.

if he played for us then he can not moved to another club on loan for the rest of the season?

Plymouth trying to sign Elfsborg top scorer Michael Baidoo for 1.5m....25 year old scored against Roma

..we should be all over there

He would come here ahead of Plymouth and Ghanian international

surely we need a striker with championship experience?

can he play tomorrow? Could do with someone who can stick a crunching tackle in. I think I'm the only one but I rate Garrett a bit. Shame his loan didn't work out though. Maybe JE can get the best out of him. Might have another loan lined up tbf

O Riordan will come back as cover or move to an other league one team.

His loan seems to have gone really badly. Bit concerning, another loan would probably be the best move, in hope he gets some game time.
