tomphil Posted November 14, 2024 Posted November 14, 2024 It's quite straightforwards to me just get Siggardsun fit then get rid in Jan and use every penny of his wages and maybe small fee towards a decent striker, loan or otherwise. 2 Quote

Good to see Eustace wants to strengthen the positions that most of us fans also want. I just hope the club back him; both need to be permanent deals but doubt they will finance anything but a free/loan. Quote

Moptop1 Posted November 14, 2024 Posted November 14, 2024 Anyone who thinks they’ll invest in January need a reality check. They won’t. History shows this. May as well close the thread now. Bloody pointless. And yet some fans still believe in them. We need to start making noises again and getting Waggott and co feeling the heat. Doubt even then, anything will happen. Sadly, some say we deserve all this shite, when, some just clap and accept things. Let that last paragraph sink in. It’s is so frustrating that they just see things, but don’t do anything about it. While others can clearly see what’s happening. 2 Quote

alcd Posted November 14, 2024 Posted November 14, 2024 How many years is it since ANYTHING good happened in a January transfer window at this club? Quote

Still got fans on the LT site scornful of those who want Venkys to quit. We'd be finished they argue. "Who would buy us?" Makes you weep. 1 Quote

Wheelton Blue Posted November 15, 2024 Posted November 15, 2024 We literally need to sell to survive, so any transfer business will be in the opposite direction. More likely to be a fire sale than any squad strengthening. 5 Quote

Waggott won't know whether to s*** or get off the pot. This has been 14 years in the making and I firmly believe that the tipping point is nigh. 2 Quote

The two youngsters who I think will make it to the top are Tyjon and Litherland but neither will get a platform to convince clubs to buy them. To be honest I just want us to be put out of our misery. There have been far too many crises under the Punekars for one not to tip the balance and for me this is the one. Bring it on and let's see what is left when they go. 5 Quote

Bolton have been through it and have come out stronger than before. Nothing to fear, won't be worse than this. Edited November 15, 2024 by 47er 4 Quote

That doesn't seem to achieve any more than selling people does these days. No matter how many wages we get off the books or how much we raise in player sales, we're always told we don't have enough money and need to get more wages off the books and raise money from player sales. 2 Quote
