The let rubbished it so it can't  be true?

During the week Eustace said that he had given a list of names he likes to the club but others might have different opinions on who to bring in

Nixon didn't say we would sign Mcburnie, he said the club had enquired about availability and had spoken to McBurnies representatives.

We won't be signing McBurnie but I don't find it a stretch to believe we could have enquired

I know based on your posts that you will struggle to agree but not everything Nixon will post is true.

He is a self proclaimed gossip.

You are so quick to dismiss the links without knowing the full story, what Islander200 has said is probably the case. Nixon never said we would be signing McBurnie. He reported we had an interest in McBurnie. I've check back what Nixon's story was.

We could do with Clark Kent.

On the Schlupp front, there aren’t many really quick 32 year olds. Maybe we think Beck will be recalled and with Pickering being out for months we’re looking for a left back. That would be a different story.

why would Liverpool recall him when their 2 left backs are fit and have been looking at signing Robinson at Fulham?

Yep,he's been giving the subtle messages out for over a month now but are the Clowns running the show getting it?

Anyone else having that de ja vue feeling..

I think it’s highly unlikely that the Teflon coated swans* of BRFC are picking up on anything.

It's even easier to claim we only have an interest in him. That can never be disproven. I could claim we had an interest in Borja Sainz, see, easy. Prove me wrong.

Not disputing that Shlupp and Kent are good players but do they really address the problem we have in that we do not score anywhere near enough goals ? … if true both are going to cost a considerable amount of money and personally id  rather see that spent on a goal scorer

Yes, I’d say they would both be great signings. Between them you’ve secured the LB and LW cover we need. Plenty of experience and look very much like the managers choice. Promising if true.

Schlupp is not what we need. He is heavily reliant on pace and at 32 that will be waning and he again does not offer a goal threat.

Kent I would understand more. Will offer more of an attacking threat.

Schlupp is exactly what we need. And he does offer a ‘goal threat’ whatever that means.

Utility man Jeffrey Schlupp could be on his way to Blackburn Rovers on loan ahead of a full-time exit.

Schlupp, 32, fits the profile Rovers boss John Eustace wants for his squad.

The former Leicester City left-winger is not in the Palace starting line-up but has been used off the bench by Glasner.

He is out of contract at the end of the season and may look for some security.

Blackburn are also checking a move for free agent Ryan Kent in the same position but Schlupp can play left-back as well, making him doubly attractive.

So loans and free agents again.

Glad to see that £40m in transfer profits isn't going to waste.

The January window is all about getting players who make an impact. The option to buy players is already limited, you need to box clever.

IF Schlupp and Kent are in the mix then I’d say that’s promising, based on the careers of them both.

Falling for the same tricks year after year.

What tricks? Josh, you intimating somehow that Rovers should / could spend millions based on revenue from sales is the most deluded narrative on here.

Schlupp and Kent do not represent the same profile of player we’ve signed in January before. They look very much like the type of player the manager may want.

As for me, I’m not falling for anything. I know from the horses mouth that whatever JE, or Waggot for that matter think they can spend matters not. Suhail runs the whole show and those numbers and budgets can change by the minute. It’s a shit show.

So why not do the honourable thing and resign if you're Waggot? He's clearly having zero positive effect on the club, just draining £300k a year out of the coffers.

We've brought in over 30million in transfer fees, we should absolutely be spending money.

Nobody is expecting the club to do that, that's why everyone is so fucking pissed off about the whole situation.

Venkys just need to fuck off right now.
