Siggy is a real strange character isn't he

Looks like he has bags of ability on the ball, but a player that has spent his time on 3G pitches playing no contact. Soon as he gets one put on him, it is all over

When he first came he bagged a few goals too. I thought it was a real shrewd signing. Just goes to show how football works

TBF the original article said both we and Sheffield United favoured a loan whereas Hanley would probably favour a loan somewhere which had a permanent move at the end of it, so nothing new really.

Jackson just reproduced that article passing off what was fairly obvious as his opinion and this guy has rehashed another article out of what Jackson wrote.

It would be nice if we ever got any actual insight or original links  from Jackson at our local paper but all he does is reproduce stuff which has already appeared elsewhere on the internet.

Hopeless Jackson is.

His exclusive back in the summer was some story about us wanting Stephen Humphrys.

Then back end of last year about Hedges signing a new contract, which surprise hasn't happened yet.

Unless neither Carter nor Wharton are going to play again this season, and we need the extra cover, Hanley is a bullet dodged.

As for Siggurdsson (sp?) shunt him out this week. He's a waste of a wage and needs to be got off the payroll.

Here’s one for you Dolan to Sheffield Utd and Brewster in return……….

Funnily enough, i'd actually be on board with that if Brewster wasn't on silly wages 😂

Apart from one purple patch 6 years ago for Swansea, Brewster makes Dolan look like prime Messi in terms of his goal return

6 goals in 95 games for Sheffield United since then

Brewster has scored 4 league goals in 5 years, and also missed about 18 months of his career due to 3 separate hamstring injuries in that time.

Sounds right up our street to be fair!

The old Kent/Holding/Hanley/Brewster quadruple transfer coup. LOL.

Probably keep the physio busy.

Daughter's boyfriend over from Australia last season early November against Preston on first visit to Ewood had Siggie sized up in twenty minutes "doesn't fancy it does he?"

Would take Brewster on the right deal. Clearly a player there, bear in mind a large number of those 95 appearances will have been while Sheff U were a premier league club.

Theres potentially 100’s of reasons its not worked for him at Sheffield United, we’d certainly be sick if he signed for someone else and started banging them in.

Can anyone name me (aside from probably Adam Armstrong) who these proven championship goal scorers are? I can’t think of another who scores regularly at this level. Let alone the cost in January a player who scored regularly at this level. A forward with experience of scoring goals at this level is not going to happen.
