I always imagine the super computer looking like the one in Willy Wonka where Tim Brooke Taylor is asking it where the last Golden Ticket is.

Its more exciting than it just being essentially an excel spreadsheet 😉

What point where you trying to make then?

Explained earlier.

Someone said words to the effect that savvy owners wouldn't have to fund losses.

I replied that was "optimistic" (meaning I think the Club would take a while to turn round  due to the state the V's would no doubt leave it in and that any new owners would have to tolerate losses for a period no matter how clever they were)

Wonder if this Flexi ticket launch is smokescreen to keep fans at bay because...I dunno...No incomings.

We will have a half season ticket to match our half season deadline day loanee signings game time, and a Flexi season ticket to match our OAP/lower league punt signings game time

The losses can't be as big as they once where its been cut back after cut back in the last 5 years .

Like I say we are towards the bottom in terms of playing staff wage bill. We haven't paid over £1 million for a player in  2 years. We have made a transfer profit of £35 million in those 2 years

You like to turn it on Waggott and Pasha, but before them it was Derek Shaw and Paul Agnew, before that yer man Paul Hunt. The owners want a box ticker and someone to shove the blame on.O'Brien and McGuire was down to the owners pulling the plug.

A different owner would be demanding the club do more commercially .A different owner wouldn't be satisfied with the club seemingly only targetting sponsorship from the local area .A different owner would look to be more inventive with ticket pricing and get more bums on seats instead of playing in a half empty ground every home match .

I'd just like an owner who actually took an interest in the club.

Nail. Head.

Are you listening, Venksters?

So a week into the window we are minus 1 in terms of players. That is the risk you run with loan players and we have to accept it as it's out of our control. Signing players is within our control and we need to move quickly. Do I expect that to happen? Absolutely not.

I genuinely believe that the number of points accrued means that the “leadership” won’t invest a penny.

Promotion isn’t the aim - avoiding relegation is and it is not unthinkable that the current squad (injuries included) can scrape enough points together to make it over the line.

Bakers wage and possibly selling a low value player will cover a loan or short term contract for a player that is not a guaranteed starter…

As someone said earlier in the thread. What's the point in the fans spending hard earned money to buy season tickets, when we know that even if there is a glimmer of hope of actually doing something in this fucking league for a change, they just actively sabotage it.

There's absolutely nothing to get excited about with this club. It's completely pointless.

Our only option is to get as much attention onto venkys as possible and do what we can to damage their reputation. They are frauds, literally, and the whole world needs to know.

Baker going wouldn't be a big loss to other clubs at our end of the table but is a death knell to us. JRC and Buckley at their current level are nowhere near enough and whilst Baker himself wasn't really effective it is better than the alternative.

We've had the fax machine and paperwork error in the last couple of seasons, what do we think this January's Onionesque excuse is going to be?

I'll support my club through thick and thin but this cant get any thinner in my book. I feel bad for everyone at the club behind the scenes who have made living at the club, made it a second home, the people there, the fans on matchday, some of the higher ups down to the waiting on staff. Its a collaboration formed over a long long time and painful seeing it all go to waste through incompetent ownership. Its just fuckin sad.
