That gives us a total 42.9% chance of finishing in the top 6. Which would probably be a fair shout based purely on the data from the season so far. What Opta of course can't factor in is Venkys fucking us in this window whilst other teams strengthen.

Opta need a better supercomputer then, if it cannot predict an annual certainty, then it isn't much of a supercomputer in my eyes 😉

If Leonard was to go on loan somewhere it needs to be done properly. Guaranteed minutes etc. two loans have already failed this season. Filters out sides who only want him for cover if they got to pay a fee for not playing him

I have a slight issue with this in terms of hypocrisy - we as fans can’t really ask/demand a club guarantees minutes for on of ours on loan but when we get a player on loan and they under perform we complain that they play

for me it always should be based on performance I don’t like the stipulation of ‘guaranteed’ minutes. If your good enough you will play

Was good for Hull City last year, way better than for us in 22-23.

As my post above states it should be on performance

if Morton was available for loan minus the guaranteed minutes stipulation I wouldn’t be against it.

but I wouldn’t go for it if he has to play - Travis will be back soon

Well looks like no signings this week. Wonder if the club have been told to wait until the court date has passed before we can proceed with things.
All this 'positivity' in what the club are doing for me feels like smoke screen. Our local journalist hasn't a foggiest clue what is going on and is quite frankly useless.

Next Wednesday is a must win but at this current stage I can't see us scoring so expect a Pompey win - Will be an interesting interview if the above happens and no signings are made.

Ziderm was an absolute baller!

We could’ve signed him back in the day, but Uncle Jack declined stating that we don’t need him since we had Tom Sherlood.

Hahahaha And Jason Wilclock

Completely agree. In today’s game these clauses are added whether we like it or not. It stops clubs from signing for the sake of cover

Attach a loan fee and penalties if he doesn't play X amount of minutes.

If they're not serious about loaning him then they won't pay it.

We don't need another situation like Garrett and O'Riordan where promising youngsters of ours aren't even making the match squads. It's a waste of their time and ours.

But again our fans gave off about the amount of minutes Morton played the amount of minutes Moran played etc

cant have it both ways is what I’m saying

Yep, Poveda and Khadra on either side that night were electric.

One of my all time favorite games that one. Immediately after the absolutely battering by Fulham too IIRC

The new flexi season ticket is like a new signing!

My Mrs is (very sadly) a staunch Liverpool fan so recently watched him in the cup vs. Southampton and I thought he did very well and even finished the game at right back and still did well.

He still is, however, VERY lightweight. Needs a few good chippy dinners. Definitely not up to being in a midfield two due to this, although if we had a formation change and he was part of 3 with Travis and Tronstad he could very much dictate a game
