Have we ever started with ohashi and Gueye upfront? On paper they'd make the perfect little and large combo. 

 

But nooooo football teams all have to play pretty much the same 1 upfront shite sytem now.

Yeah, you can say Eustace has the players he has got, but he picks them and some of these guys are chronic bottlers and/or ineffectual. So try something different - anything. Hedges has contributed virtually fuck all in his entire time at Rovers. What is the manager thinking is going to suddenly change?!

Bizarre conclusion to draw. We’ve played well and show plenty of character. We just lack quality at the top end of the pitch.

He’s picking the team - it’s a stronger bench than we had under the last few managers (Telalovic, Ennis, Markanday, Garrett anyone?)

Half of this bench had to start under the last manager and the other half are new signings under JE.

I agree with the general message though, Hedges and Dolan are slowing it down, but not sure we’ve been in good positions - we’ve barely been in their box or made their keeper work

Where are goals coming from in this team? None of the forwards look like scoring and the loss of Szmodics is really being felt now. Two new strikers needed in January - good ones

We never do. Take away the Derby and Bristol City matches and the goals for column is extremely concerning to say the least.

We need our midfielders to chip in with goals as well. We need to stop depending on that one forward who will score 50% (or more) of our goals. I’d rather go up than have the top scorer every other season and that requires more or less everyone to score.

Last 2 minutes alone we’ve been in great positions to attack their back line and we fuck it up every time. Lack of quality with final ball or decision every time.
