RTM08 Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 I was downvoted by quite a number of people when I said we'd be fighting relegation during the Preston game and unfortunately I can't see anything but. Cuts after cuts after cuts only lead one way. We've got a cheap, ineffective squad with a plodder of a manager and under Venkys we're lucky to even be the division we're in. Every season we have an initial purple patch and then collapse a couple of months into the season. Mentally weak and I'd take surviving the drop as an outcome for the season. 3 Quote
TugaysMarlboro Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 Gueye is not the brightest spark is he. 1 Quote

TheFinalCountdown Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 Safety risk averse board, owners board and manager. Gueye instead of Leonard sums it all up. Sheff Utd should beat us 9 times out of 10, but atleast show some intent. It's a free hit. 2 Quote
joey_big_nose Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 Hope Leonard has something about him over the next few games. Need to try something different going forward and dont see any other options. 6 Quote
TugaysMarlboro Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 Who's the co commentator on the rovers feed? Also brain dead. Didn't think Gueye should've had even a yellow as it was a "coming together" and thought Pears made a "great save" for Campbell's first effort (where he parried it straight back at him for another chance to score). 1 Quote
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted November 2, 2024 Moderation Lead Posted November 2, 2024 I hope RBH has enough bed capacity for all these injured Blades. Poor lambs. Quote
roverandout Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 And chaddy thought we'd win 2-0 lol Quote

TheFinalCountdown Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 Squad is already stretched. No real depth. Long cold winter ahead. I'd take 15th place now. 1 Quote
Exiled in Toronto Mk2 Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 Now I’m no master tactician, but it seems to me that the best recipient of Buckley’s passes through the defence is the forward who runs onto them, and the best recipient of Travis lumping it forward is the tall one who can win headers. 5 Quote

Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted November 2, 2024 Moderation Lead Posted November 2, 2024 ‘You’re fucking shit’ comes from the Darwen End. Believe me lads, we know. 1 Quote

He isn’t getting that from Dolan, Weismann or Hedges (left footed on right wing) Quote
RutlandRover Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 Sheff Utd just stronger, more organised, more committed. We just don't have enough quality to counter our lack of physicality. 4 Quote
joey_big_nose Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 We've broadly been competitive in the midfield until the subs but now getting totally overrun 1 Quote

Pickering, Brittain, Leonard all started plenty under the last manager, then Weismann, Gueye, Toth, Baker all new signings under the new manager - that’s 7 of today’s bench. We’re nowhere near as stretched as we have been in the past relying on Markanday and Garrett to start and looking at Telalovic on the bench as the game changer. If we do actually get a few injuries it’s only going to get worse. Edited November 2, 2024 by superniko 1 Quote
