Clearly Sheffield are a cut above us, so any criticism has to be tempered.

But seeing Dolan and Hedges line up again and again as we fail to get anywhere NEAR the opposition goal is a slap in the face.

I can't think of any worse front lines in the division than ours.

nothing has to be tempered ffs , we didn't even try and win the game which is unforgivable,  imagine if Tamworth had that attitude last night.

Not the result we all wanted today. Thought Sheff united looked a top 2 team today.

Rovers started the game really well and I was encouraged by it then Burrows scored after poor defending. After their goal, we still getting into their final third but then let down by final pass or decision being the wrong one.

After they scored again, it was game over.

I think Ohashi did well today. hold the ball up well, good touches but second half he should have shot not look for another pass. Just shoot FFS!

Beck was my man of the match.

I thought Eustace should have 4-4-2 second half play Gueye or Leonard with Ohashi just before they scored their second.

Onto the Stoke game and lets win the game on Wednesday. Not disappointed a

Not disappointed? Started well? Really?

Surely the lack of goals and indeed goal threat is a big concern now even to you. And have you yet realised that Dolan and Hedges arent good enough?

The team shape was the same as every other home game this season, which has brought a fantastic return.

With the subs at his disposal, I just think the guf in class was too big whatever he had done.

The good start has gone to a few heads, today always had the chance to be a mismatch.

it`s not against league rules to change things when it`s not going your way, thats the difference between an astute manager and ours

not gone to my head , I'm just sick of boring tippy back passing like crabs , creating pressure at the back .

I would too like to see Ohashi playing alongside another forward. Who would you drop? Cantwell is the only creative player that looks like he can make something happen, but shifting him out wide doesn't really work. Equally I'm not sure playing him as a CM would work as he's somewhat of a luxury player to have in the side.

If not 442 then its either a narrower 4132 or a 352, which I'm not sure we really have the depth at CB right now to risk. I suppose you could put Pickering as a left sided CB and play Beck and Brittain as wing backs.

I wonder if playing Ohashi wide left is an option.

Its a conundrum, but there's no doubting they need to try something different.

We're well and truly on the slide now. Time for the relegation thread?

Absolutely. Bottom 6 before Xmas, bottom 3 before the end of January. It's what most of us expected at the start of the season and will happen because all of the signings except Cantwell are below Championship standard.

We are a team cobbled together on a shoestring budget.

Is it really surprising that we should lose to a side who will probably be promoted, (or certainly go very close)?

It isn't good enough, but blame the owners, not the coaching staff.

If we lose on Wednesday that would be a different matter, because Stoke are very much in our section of the Championship.

It's really simple.

We simply have nothing resembling quality that enables us to progress in the league we are in.

Who do we have than we can call championship quality?

Cantwell and Beck, that's it.

As long as we are owned by these incompetent lunatics nothing will change.

The reality is dawning. We are a bang average Championship side

How Gueye plays is beyond me. Makes Gallagher look like Messi!!

We're well below "bang average". I don't expect this lot to even beat Portsmouth in 3 weeks time.

Wait, you think those are low effort performances?

I think it's a team going flat out - which is why we struggle to back it up when we have 2 games a week.

Dolan, Hedges, Weimann, Buckley, Pickering, Pears - all L1 players.

Sheffield United brought Harmer off the bench ffs.

You can add Gueye and Ohashi to the L1  list.

if you think pickering is better than beck then you need to lay of the lsd,im`e one of the few that thinks pickering is ok but there is no way he`s a better player than beck

I said he’s a better defender than Beck, who in the last three games has been skinned alive by the right wingers of WBA, Watford and Sheffield Utd. Like so many modern full backs he looks good going forward, which makes folk think they are world beaters. A right back’s first priority should be to defend well.

One instance that stuck out to me, was in the second half, we had possession on the left wing about 18 yards from their bye-line. we ended up putting the ball out for their throw-in, in our right-back position, without any of their players touching the ball.

There’s not many teams that can do that so it’s something to build on at least.

I see Bournemouth & Boscombe Athletic are beating the champions, in front of a crowd of about 12,000.

Brilliant management and ambition. But too difficult for us apparently

Remember Waggott has most of our supporters believing we are a small town club. Nothing special.

He has sold that notion to our owners and they believe what shite they are being told by him.

He has no interest in us, just lining his pockets at our clubs expense.
