G Somerset Rover Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 That lineup just screams of a lack of creativity coupled with zero goals in it. Hope I’m proved wrong but hard to see past a 0-0 or 0-1 loss. 5 Quote

Forever Blue Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 Rovers 6 Stoke 0 Hedges double hat trick Quote
roverandout Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 One of the worst 11s in the championship Quote

I can’t see Litherland getting on, he played the full game last night. Tyjon played an hour also. I think Hedges gets in by the virtue of being the only natural winger at the club. Anyone else who plays there is either an attacking mid or a No.10. (Brighton kid maybe another? but injured anyway) Quote

moerpho Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 I hate this deflated feeling when it comes to Rovers. We get these small sprinkles of light before the darkness comes crashing down and we’re back in the doldrums. We should be angry, enraged and willing to die for the cause, but years of grinding down this once great club has left me deflated. I hope and wish for success. I want our players to succeed. But it just feels a bit flat. I still live for those moments that makes football the best thing in the world, but… Still. Get back to winning ways at home. No more dilly dally. Up and at them! COYB! 3 Quote
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 Thought he might have gone 2 up but no. Fair play to Eustace. He's taken the slowest 11 in the championship from last week and actually made us even slower. That is a rank starting 11. They'll probably win 3-0 now. 😆 3 Quote

ItsRoverZ Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 I'd rather stick a cone out in the right then play Hedges ffs 2 Quote

I agree, he's limited with what he can do. Points to poor recruitment. BUT, he's not changing his approach even with better players. 1 Quote
RevidgeBlue Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 Thought Virgin red button wasn't working as usual - its just come on at the last minute- don't know if that's a good or bad thing. Can't believe Hedges is starting - yet again. The manager needed to try something different and go 2 up top given the (non) scoring run we're on. 1 Quote
West Yorks Rover Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 Stoke's away record is terrible. Played 6 W 1 D 1 L 4 F 1 A 8 - 7 Still think we'll struggle though, without a decent goal scorer. Quote
roverandout Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 Cantwell is lightyears better than any other rovers player 2 Quote

Forever Blue Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 this is a replica of the Sheff Utd game, we’ve been excellent again for the first 15 minutes Quote
yankfan Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 Our winger’s disaster play summed up by the looping cross from hedges isn’t anywhere near useful, bearly out but falls to Weimar in the rights who’s looping cross is over touch. Neither one could ever be finished by an attacker. 1 Quote
Devon Rover Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 Cantwell running the show but absolutely no support acts to make it matter 2 Quote

Old Codger Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 Rovers started well. But not hurting this lot. 1 Quote
Forever Blue Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 We’re a really good team until we get to the edge of the oppo’s box 2 Quote
