Buy from the bargain shelf, get bargain shelf players.

We've played much worse than this and won this year. We all know who's fault this is. £40 million or so in and the manager is picking up the patients of Witch Doctors and 37 year olds on frees.

Venkys strangling us, Eustace keeps us up polishing this turd and he's done his job (depressing).

On a plus side Cantwell oozed class tonight, a joy to watch.

As Rudy just explained, not Venky’s fault - we can’t just go out and spend 40mill because that money will be received in instalments over a few years😇 believe my 4 year old daughter would see through this. That interview likely reflects Rovers owner/management’s intellectual level atm - scary stuff.

Its start looking like JDT era....starts well then decline..... the mentality at the club is horrendous.... nothing will help except getting the inept owners out....

We had a decent season out of JDT. Unlucky not to get in the play offs.

I can't blame Eustace though, they've given him amateurs and old men to work with.

I really want to see a comprehensive analysis of how Gueye contrived to miss that sitter as he did. It would make for great punditry.

“As any schoolboy knows…you’re taught to head it down so all he’s doing there is making it very hard for the keeper…which in fairness he did because he certainly wasn’t expecting that…so in a very real sense…it’s clever play…”

”It went over…

“Well yeah…but he’s done what you’re taught as a schoolboy…”

”He was two yards out…”

”But he did beat the keeper technically…”

And you would had thought Pears job was to keep Manhoef effort out....

He's got a good left peg does Manhoef. No pressure on the shot, so was poor defending. Looked vulnerable a few times but the ball did bounce mysteriously in their fabvour more than a few times.

It doesn’t reflect how stupid they are, it reflects how stupid they think we are.

And Mowbray... We have consistent issues in the way we play across the last six years or so.

- we're dead once we go behind in games

- we give away cheap goals

- we have a terrible record in midweek

- we go on long death spirals

Was hoping that Eustace could fix it, but losing that hope.

My dislike for Gestede after his comments this week is immense.

Becoming apathetic to the players and Eustsce now. Rank mediocrity. Cantwell is the only player in that team with any quality.

You get what you pay for. But thanks Venkys for all you do (FAO Rudy).

Eustace is also a crap manager for what it’s worth.

Gestede should choose his words wisely considering his antics prior to his departure during his playing days. His assessment of the transfer window soundes like Gregg with an accent. Pressure is on for January, although we're obviously not spending big then either.

One thing about Pears, I didn't seem him look angry or sound off at his shitty defence once.

He's been the fortunate beneficiary of a more organised back line this season.
But make no mistake, he is a liability and will continue to be a liability.

I have no idea if Toth is actually any good, but working on the basis that he's not Pears, I'm willing to give him a go.

As for the other end, just play Leonard and Tyjon. Both are kids, but already streets ahead of Gay and Ohashi.

How is losing at home a cracking game to watch. I don't know if your comment is just sarcasm, as I was not there.

If you weren't there and didn't watch the game how can you criticise my comment. I watched it on TV and IMO Rovers actually played a hell of a lot better than they have done over the last 5 or 6 games. We swung the ball from wing to wing. We put loads of crosses in. We just didn't get the luck we deserved.

Their keeper had a world class display.  We've been crying out for crosses and a faster tempo to our game and, tonight, that's what we got.

As I said, good game and unlucky to lose.

There were some good performances in the team today. Problem A is end product and problem B is bodies in the box. We really strive to keep our shape, and also have to, as we're so vulnerable on the break. I am angry and disappointed about the result, but have to try and look at the match tonight objectively. Objectively Stoke deserved nothing, but we at least have to score one fucking goal in order to win matches.

Fucking hell just seen we are onefrly 4 points off the bottom 3, we are heading that way for sure

Bottom 3 before Xmas. How is Gueye playing at this level? A National League player at best.

We should've given him more to worry about in the first half imo. We were quite direct and crossed the ball but start with Ohashi who was the only player in their box most of the time. Szmodics would've scored a hattrick tonight.

The owners will get their wish next May..

RELEGATION

I mean they've fucked up transfer windows, signed rookie managers, neglected the defence, sold a full team full of excellent championship players. And we're still in the top ten. Little Miss Dickhead Desai will be livid.

The search for shit out of work ex-Burnley managers will be on if Eustace can turn this around.

He makes Browny look like Shearer.

Every single fucker involved in his signing should be sacked on the spot.

Every time Gueye plays he finds another way to be a complex embarrassment. He couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo.
