A message which could see us fail to go back into the playoffs, I think it's a silly move and should of started one of gueye or Leonard.

He is the one that scored at the weekend. You want a place, earn it. Leonard and Mac need to prove they can finish consistently if they want to start consistently

I thought Leonard did some good things at the weekend. Should have scored but he needs to take those chances and make the position his. He didn’t do that on Saturday

Gueye is ineffective when starting games, he tires and just gets in the way.

He's is much better coming off the bench. Weimann will tire to but at least he has an eye for goal, bring Gueye on after around 70minutes.

We're at home and it feels too staid and defensive. 

If we aren't going to start Cozier- Duberry at home against a team in the relegation zone then will it happen?

I'd probably also have started JRC in front of Buckley.

Disappointing, and I hope it doesn't backfire.

The very next game after a "Home Sellout" and this is looking like one of the more disastrous attendances of the past decade. Resemblance of a 1st Round League Cup tie vs a L2 team (with 12 mins till KO).

YES, I know it's rearranged; a night game just after Xmas; expensive ticket prices; foggy/"cold"; road issues on the M65; and - of course - the Venkys... but damn.

Is it that shocking that our 2nd top scorer (low bar) and the player who has more Championship goals than the rest of our forwards added up and multiplied is starting up top? It's not Bradley Johnson.

The only counter to that - we've lost two games recently where he's started ACD and clearly gone for the win. The Dolan / Hedges defensive solidity seems to work at the moment.

As I said, a lot of people around me in the Jack Walker were there because they hate Burnley.
