I'd Say Guardiola and Klopp were the two ideal candidates, after that Tuchel is as good as we could get imo. Look at the effect he had on Chelsea after inheriting a mess off Frank Lampard. Klopp didnt want to manage at the minute which you haven't considered in your post. Quote

roversfan99 Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 Watching Rovers often does lead to torment. Thats because it means something unlike the Nations league. 8 pull outs tells you everything you need to know. Interesting to see how many magically recover in a fortnight. 2 Quote

RevidgeBlue Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 Aside from the Nations League being practically meaningless to begin with, cant for the life of me understand Carsley being left in charge for these 2 games. Whatever he does in terms of tactics or personnel is absolutely irrelevant and the result is almost as unimportant given he will be leaving the post imminently. 1 Quote

I don't doubt that most of them will, but they are injured. This isn't a Ryan Giggs scenario. 2 of them had to come off at the weekend. Having said that, this is the 3rd international break so far this season. They are annoying, but if I want England to win a tournament (which I do) I think they should play together more. I also think that not having Tuchel in charge is odd too. 1 Quote

Are you seriously telling me that these glorified friendlies are better than Chesterfield going hammer and tongues for 90 minutes against West Ham and taking them to a replay? Give over. 4 1 Quote

Yes that explains your usage of the word "owt" it's such a common term abroad isn't it? Tuchel referred to as the "German bloke" in the Sun in another riveting piece of intelligent journalism. Who the hell cares where he's from? Edited November 12, 2024 by Vinjay 1 Quote

Even if Tuchel was in charge. The tournament is 19 months away, playing a few extra jazzed up friendlies in an already overcrowded schedule isnt going to make a difference. Quote
