Two things  for sure. I’m Glad Germany got dumped out on their home turf.

The worst Referee/ VAR displays in this tournament have come from English officials.

How was that Spanish handball any different to some of the ones that have resulted in penalties being given/goals disallowed?

I don’t think it should have been given but the inconsistency is baffling

For Germany to get the penalty against Denmark, and not get that one, sums up everything that is wrong with the decision making.

It’s not cheating under the current rules but it needs changing back so it is.

I thought the rule was that they had to keep moving forwards at all times? He did for the first stutter but 100% stopped momentarily on the second.

Thank god for that. France are negative but Portugal have so many dislikable players.

Serves them right ultimately - if Martinez had stones Ronaldo wpuld have been benchriding but instead they had nothing up top and didn't use free kicks in good crossing positions to satisfy his vanity.

Can ‘feint’ up to, but not at, the ball:

Michael Oliver really is a terrible ref

He always has been.

Regarded as the top referee in the whole of the UK.

It's a very low bar, a millimetre above ground level.

He and Atwell are so bad it defies belief.

Game day.

Looks like England will play 3-4-2-1 formation and the team is rumoured to be this

                Pickford

      Walker Stones Konza

Tripper  Rice  Mainoo  Saka

       Foden  Bellingham

               Kane

Its not the team I would play in that formation as I would pick TAA at right wing back instead of Tripper, Toney instead of Foden and Palmer instead of Mainoo.

Isn’t Bellingham banned, or have I made that up?
