It has to be tactical. There’s no logical reason a player as experienced as him to be popping up as borderline centre back at times

Saka did a couple of times but Kane was busy chilling on the halfway line so he probably thought "why bother"

Not sure why the narrative on the BBC that we're massively improved. Five shots and none on target, wow. Amazing. 

Switzerland have been more disappointing than we have been impressive. Think Italy made them look a lot better than they are. This is a team that drew 1-1 with Scotland, after all.

We’ve dominated the ball and done nothing with it. It’s easy passing around at the back.

Classic bbc. Think of an agenda think of a narrative to fit it. Foden has been bang average again just like his other 40 appearances in an England shirt.

I think England have been a lot better. Not as good as they should be with the players they have but should be too much for a well drilled but very ordinary Swiss team.
