That was never a penalty in a million years.

Even a Zillion years.

Foden finally bothered to turn up. Playing really well.

Saka good again.

Trippier involved but not sure he is good enough. Shaw please.

Mainoo should not be on the pitch.

Bellingham passenger.

If Kane isn't fit, why is he moving around so much. Save your energy and stay by the penalty spot

We seem allergic to crossing, whereas I feel we could put a lot of pressure on. At least 3 times we had 4 people in the box and no one would cross.

Agree about the penalty, what has Mainoo done I thought he was a real positive. Bellingham has done ok as well.

Best player after foden. The only reason  he shouldn't be on the pitch is because he's not Wharton. Performance today has been brilliant.

I think Netherlands have big strong cetrebacks they would be happy enough receiving crosses in, they certainly can't cope with the one two quick passes in and around the box.

He’s getting the freedom of the park. For most of this tournament he’s been pressed by teams that have given us no space. It’s not always Gareth’s fault😉

He's been moving all over the pitch too to get that space.

He couldn't do that from LW, so maybe that is a little bit Southgate's fault. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Either way this system is looking way more fluid last couple games.

England totally in control, Dutch apart from a wonderful goal have been woeful.

If it stays the same way second half then England should win it. I imagine Dutch will change something though, cant continue to be that bad.

Please just keep this tempo going. We can and should win this. The Dutch got a slice of fortune with Rice losing concentration and were ruthless in taking advantage of that, but they've offered little else and looked rattled throughout by our attacking play.

Trippier can't cross and Walker isn't much better.

Wouldn’t it be great if we had an Alan Shearer type forward with right wingers on the right and left wingers on the left, pinging crosses in. That would still work?

The inverted thing has always been shit. Maybe one day Pep will bang his head and decide to go 4-4-2 and everyone will follow.

It’s so simple, it’s painful. Run forwards. Pass forwards. It makes all the difference.

It’s a lot easier to do when the opposition allow you to do it. This is a totally different game than the earlier matches. The Dutch are wide open.

Got to watch the Dutch on corners and free kicks.Dumfries showed it could only take one chance and we'll be behind again.

We’ve all seen this movie before haven’t we lads? Score when you’re on top or it will probably bite you in the arse.

Shaw on, hopefully this will help. I imagine they’ll actually mark him, I think they left Trippier to it as he isn’t a threat as by the time he cuts back onto his right they could stroll over to him.

The ditch didn't seem to be interested in marking a anyone 😁
