And on another negative note 🙄 the pitch looks shit.

I think all the pitches have been pretty poor this tournament.

Next change surely needs to be Kane for Toney. He's so far off it it isn't funny.

The Dutch have closed down the space that Foden was operating in. Different game now.

This game has at least been a tactical lesson for the anti-Gareth mob. I include the useless pundits in that.

Has it? I'd argue if anything it's following the classic pattern of Gareth being completely outfoxed by any even slight change in tactics from an opposition manager.

This is winnable but he needs to make a change.

We were dominating. The Dutch had to make a change before they got over run. Gareth won the tactical battle in the first half.

Foden’s disappeared because they are now marking him. It’s Foden’s job to adapt.

This happened against Italy, Croatia etc as well. Gareth won the early exchanges and then the opposition manager changed things and we threw the games away. Since the changes we've barely been in their half - Gareth needs to change it.

ide say it was the managers job to change personel and tactics,if it was the players choice he`d be charging all over the pitch and would never ever sub himself

Looks like a negative switch to 4-4-2 by Southgate? With no left midfielder again.

lol, it’s not like we’re under immense pressure. It’s just more even now. We completely outclassed them first half.

You can’t just shout ‘change the tactics’ every time we have a quiet 10 mins!

It's been a "quiet" almost 30 minutes now. We've created nothing this half, the Dutch have multiple good opportunities. When exactly should he change it? When the Dutch score?

Multiple good opportunities? Utter nonsense.

It’s an even game cos the Dutch have packed the midfield.

Gareth now about to make subs at just the right time.

Dunno if it's injury fitness or age but in this case Kane is looking like the international version of Rhodes. Great finisher but no pace or presence.
