I don't think Kane has ever been in any serious danger of being dropped throughout the whole tournament, despite his poor form.

Southgate is generally a safety first manager and dropping a guy with a goalscoring record and the experience of Kane wouldn't even enter his mind.

Watkins did more in 10 minutes than Kane has all tournament. 

He's CLEARLY injured (or he's dropped off a cliff since his move to Germany) - he's slow, he's half a second behind everyone else in the box and he drops into midfield leaving us with no-one upfront.

Kane has 3 goals, important goals, we wouldn’t be here without those goals.

You can't really drop the dressing room leader, captain and joint top scorer in the tournament, regardless of his performances as a whole. I understand the logical argument for doing so but realistically it wouldn't happen under any manager.

Kane is our captain and Leader, joint top goalscorer and no way were Kane ever getting dropped.

Kane is so far off the pace it’s unbelievable. Either injured or finished at the top level. Whichever it is, he’s a passenger

It's not just Kane's running, he's slow with his feet during the passing moves. He used to be so good at that.

Shaw doing brilliantly on the left in defence. Hope his engine holds up.

A one legged kane would still be a goal threat in the area, but Spain are so happy playing soft passes back to the keeper or between their defenders absolutely sure in the knowledge that no forward is going to try and nick one
