The England Team - all the news, views…

England's left flank including Trippier will be the main weakness this tournament. The best teams will exploit it

Still think not taking Grealish was a huge mistake.

So what’s the expectation for England this tournament?

Winners? Finalists? Semis? QFs?

The right players are capable of winning it all, but the manager and his selections aren't. Providing we navigate the group we'll be put out by the first half decent team, so QF/SF depending on the pathway we take.

should be going for the jugular here,we`re sitting off them now

The Southgate classic - it cost us against France at the WC and Italy in the Euros as well.

This England team since Southgate took over has been better at attacking at speed and forcing opposition teams back but Southgate insists on getting a goal and then sitting back more often than not.

If we are playing a right footer at left back, I'd have started TAA.

A centre mid, he is not.

Why? When has he played left back?

TAA is more of centre mid then at left back. He will play more in centre midfield this coming season for Liverpool

Saka proving pace is doing well down the right, Gordon brings that more than Foden.

Wharton because he's from Blackburn, and Trent isn't called Declan Rice

Another Southgate masterclass, awful, awful manager. I hate watching England because it is just so unbelievably dull.

Foden and Kane are nonexistent and Trent is a liability. Bellingham and Guehi(sp?) look decent.

The other big teams dominate and continue to dominate, we sit off and invite everybody onto us when we know defensively we're at our weakest.

Not forgetting the Croatia WC semi final.
