What an effort from everyone today, fantastic result but I'll never understand why we played like we did in the 2nd half and just sit back and invite pressure. Worked today but it's a risky policy 

Silly booking for Trav as well after he'd done so well recently.

We will miss him next week, not sure who the replacement will be, maybe Buckley or JRC ?

great win and what a week I was hoping for 2 points this week but Christmas came early, have we just beat 2 teams out of the top 6 in a week only 22 points to safety then lets see what we can do .

Superb. Absolutely superb. This is Blackburn Rovers! Capable of special results and performances. No fear of any so called big names.

This is starting to remind me a bit of the Hughes' days. Of course, we aren't near those highs yet nor do we have that kind of quality in our side, but I the recent resilience displayed is taking me back to that time.

Our successful teams have always been built on being solid at the back. Tippy tappy and playing like Pep has never been our thing. Mixing it up and being resolute is our way.

Eustace has got us organised and tough to break down. I have to give him huge credit for that. I thought Dolan was brilliant today, he never gave them a moment's rest. Tronstad was my MOTM though, swept everything up and made crucial blocks. Travis wasn't far behind either.

Another so called big gun silenced at Ewood Park. We've always had it in us.

A message for the hierarchy: back Eustace or piss off. This club is wasted on you. We want Rovers back in the Premier League. There is no reason why we can't do it. If you (the hierarchy) are scared of that prospect, again, piss off.

What a week though.

Yeah they really threw everything at us. I think he had 5 attackers on at the end.

We defended well and stifled them from being able to create anything decent.

Unlike Boro, I thought Leeds were a very good side who looked dangerous with some quality players, so to come away from the game with a clean sheet really is testament to the great effort and defensive organisation we've shown today.

I've been one of Pears' biggest critics - and he still makes blunders, as he did a couple of times today - but he's been good recently and his clean sheet tally for the season is impressive.

Todd Fucking Cantwell. Best signing we've made since...I can't even recall.
And he's not even fully up to speed yet.

Owen Beck makes such a difference to this side. He’s a terrific player. Covered Pickering whenever he needed to and the partnership between them looked good. He made Pickering look a better full back for sure

Im glad Dolan showed up.  I’m one of his biggest critics but he had an excellent game today. The Leeds players couldn’t get near him. Fair play to him and well deserved MOTM

The combo of Beck and Pickering down the left is really good. Either of them can cover left wing or left back.

They are two fantastic results. Puts us in a really nice position. If the owners aren’t willing to put money into the team, then I would try and move Buckley and Gueye (already I know) on. If Travis or Tronstad have an extended time out, then I think we are in trouble. Buckley isn’t good enough. If we can then add a winger with some real quality, then I think we can really push on.

Fantastic result again built on real organisation and grit. The team is set up to be so solid and its a shame that the owners were again not forthcoming in backing him.

We did make a couple of silly errors in defence trying to pass it in the wrong areas, Pears made a save after a ridiculous pass and Batth also nearly cost us a goal but our general shape and willingness to defend were excellent.

Dolan had a rare good game (in particular in the first half) and perhaps deserved his man of the match award or at least a shout. Cantwell was wasteful with 2 chances but is the stand out player with his ability and we have to desperately hope that he hasnt picked up an injury at the end. Ohashi had to score in the first half but did some good work before the downgrade to the woeful Gueye who gets worse in every game he plays. Beck is such a good player and definitely better than Hedges.

All of the defenders were really good and Travis and Tronstad are a really good partnership for a Eustace side. Both of them were shouts for man of the match and its a shame that Travis got a stupid yellow.

You mean like when the owners sanctioned a massive money deal (wages) for O Brien which mysteriously got sabotaged or when they (eventually) sanctioned a loan deal for Mcguire which went the same way?
