Massive credit to the manager for making the trip to Oxford to watch Boro, then the following day to Swansea to watch Leeds after our game was called off. Watching a game live is always better to see the whole picture and has paid dividends for these 2 games. Got his tactical plan spot on.

After Boro I thought a win versus Leeds and the team will really start to believe they’re in it this year.

Just seems to be something different within the camp this season, I’m starting to get optimistic which doesn’t bode well!!!

Fantastic win and deserved I thought, we had chances to make it more comfortable.

Leeds ran out of ideas and other than throwing loads of corners in the box didn’t seem to have much of a game plan.

Top marks for Tronstad and Dolan today both outstanding.

He thought he was getting a manager to keep our heads just above relegation trapdoor. He thought selling the free scoring Szmodics and signing 2 non--scoring forwards, one of whom is among the worst players to wear the famous blue and white halved shirt, would secure his vision

This wasn't how it was meant to be. At this rate Rovers could be in the playoffs, and then, horror of horrors, within a couple of games of the Premier League. How can he get his plan back on track? How can he scupper this feelgood factor among the fans? No doubt he'll be working feverishly over the weekend with another plan. Watch this space.

Terrific result from another too notch team performance. I have heard Eustace talk about togetherness a lot and sometimes doubted this but the last three games have shown what a team all pulling in the same direction can do. I thought we were worth the win today and had the better of the chances and Cantwell could have had a hat trick on another day. For all their possession Leeds didn't hurt us and their best chances to score were given to them by us. Once again lots of 7's and 8's from our players but Dolan was excellent today. His aggression, propensity to work hard and good decision making was excellent and if he could get anywhere near these levels every game the sky would be the limit for him. Tronstad wasn't far behind him and at times it was like we had two Tronstad's playing - he was everywhere and was like a magnet for the ball. I was never really worried in the second half despite their possession and we headed, blocked and tackled like our lives depended on it. The only downside was Travis picking up a cheap yellow card meaning he will miss the Hull match next week. We have decent options but currently Travis is really on his game so the opportunity for another player means he will have to play well.

Well done to John Eustace too. I thought our game management was first class and his substitutions and change of shape saw us over the line.

Hopefully we can keep this winning run going and keep us lot happy.

A good win and we could go on to great things if in jan we get a good forward. However can I add please that when we win do not get too high and when we lose do not do too down hearted.

Im not defending Waggott, he is a Venkys puppet. But we have had big reason in the last 3 winters to spend in January, last time armed with a club record sale. Every time, its been the odd loan and nominal fee. 

Why would it be in Waggott's best interests not to be promoted? He would probably get a pay rise.

Absolutely magnificent result. 2 brilliant wins in a really tough week and 2 clean sheets! I don't think any of us saw this coming but it is very welcome indeed.

This of course would be typical Rovers to then go and lose away at Hull next weekend. Travis being suspended is a big loss for that one, and Hull will likely have a new manager in by then as well.

Got to celebrate these moments. Rovers lost 3 in a row before now winning 3 in a row. I suspect it'll be like that a few more times this season as well, but to be on 28 points at this stage of the season when we were a lot of peoples picks for the drop is a huge achievement. John Eustace is getting 110%  and out of the team at the moment, every credit to him.

Thought Ohashi looked better again today. He should have buried that header and sometimes his first touch is horrific but seems to be improving.

Cantwell getting up to speed is massive for us also.

Dolan was superb and needs to continue playing like that week after week now.

Usual suspects were good as always, Trav, Tronstad, Brittain (not sure why he comes in for so much criticism?), Beck, Picks.

You can see why JDT wanted Danny Batth, although he would have been a disaster in JDT's set up, but he's a perfect fit for JE.

Pears had a couple of suspect moments but overall continues his good work this season.

It's in everyone's best interests to get promoted, including the owners, executives, management and players.

It is beyond stupid however believing there is a cunning plan at all levels of the club constantly in place to keep us in the Championship.

The truth is we have waxed millions under these owners losing our PL status, dropping into League One and then stabilising again in the Champuonship.

Stupid, negligent and ignorant owners agreed. But they have still funded the horrendous losses incurred over the last decade and clearly don't have an unlimited pot of money to throw at the club.

You're right - we dropped into the League 1 at one point.

They threw the kitchen sink at it relatively speaking to get back to the Championship though. Seemingly not the same level of enthusiasm somewhere within the Club to fund a push to the Premier League, even when we've been in a good position.

Im glad Dolan showed up.  I’m one of his biggest critics but he had an excellent game today. The Leeds players couldn’t get near him. Fair play to him and well deserved MOTM

These sort of games suit John Eustace. Being organised at the back and sneaking a result is his forte. Onwards and upwards 

Playing both of them down the left makes you very secure defensively, but offers nothing going forward.

It's a clear gameplan given our personnel and resources. Keep it tight and hit on the break. Requires all players working very hard to deliver it, good saves, great blocks and great defensive headers to keep them out. More pace and a better striker would help to make us more effective on the turnover but has worked well this week.

When it goes wrong (eg opposition scores 1 or 2 early on) and the gameplan is ruined and you are forced to then change up and go after them by attacking when you really haven't got the players for it. We were compact and worked our socks off today - it is hard work and it means you cannot always press because it is knackering - so obviously we were going to get deeper.

Obviously Mowbray wasnt hapless. But Waggott by all accounts was the one who identified Eustace. Bet thats a real headscratcher for you.
