RevidgeBlue
Good lads - 0-0 half time. They dropped off a bit half way through the first half and can't see it staying that way but even if not they've got the fact that they held Premier League Spurs for 45 mins in their locker as a mini victory. Waggott would probably offer him less on the basis he's got the security of a long term deal.

wilsdenrover
Did I just hear that right ? all the money Tamworth make from today will be invested back into the club? Waggott will be disgusted with an attitude such as that.

All so the big Clubs (with massive squads anyway) can play a few more meaningless games in the early stages of the Champions League or in a Club world Cup Come on be fair, these guys play too many games and they have to keep themselves fresh for the tour of the far east the day after the season finishes
wilsdenrover
Just 15 minutes from that dream replay 🙄
RevidgeBlue
Hope Tamworth can hang on until 90 minutes. Would be another little feather in their cap. If you are going to scrap replays (which I vehemently disagree with) you might as well go straight to penalties without the need for extra time as well. Again the extra period weighs in favour of the professional side you'd have thought.

Alternatively (in ties involving a Prem club) a draw results in the team from the lower division going through.

RevidgeBlue
Really enjoyable 90 mins. Tamworth heartbreakingly close to nicking it right at the death.

Really annoys me when people try to devalue it - and more often than not it's the footballing authorities themselves. A perfect summation of what the FA Cup means to fans whoever they support. You only have to look at the circus of the cup draw to see how devalued the competition has become as viewed by the FA.
